I’ve been using Allevyn Gentle Border for a week over a long-standing infected wound, and it has made a big difference. My skin has become very sensitive with other dressings and tapes, which often caused irritation when removing them. This dressing is gentle, painless to remove, and doesn’t irritate my skin at all. It also has a soft, moist pad that seems to support healing, so I no longer need to apply Vaseline beforehand as my doctor previously advised. The pad also acts as a protective cushion over the wound, helping to prevent pressure or friction while it heals. Unlike other dressings I was using previously, it does not stick to the wound itself, which has prevented further damage during removal. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Stick really well but easy to remove.

I am always cutting myself in the garden or in stupid places so I find these to be the best to help heal the wounds.

Excellent Foam Border Dressings that are comfortable and stick well to sensitive skin parts but are painless to remove, and they are available in a range of sizes to suit. Highly recommended.

These are expensive but exactly what we needed and do the job so well worth it. The OH had an open wound that wasn't healing on his arm so the local clinic put some special cream on it to slough the wound and heal it with one of these to cover it. Redressed after 4 days and it is almost healed. He can't use standard plasters as they bring his thin skin up in big red blotches but these are brilliant.

Devo dire che mi ha sorpreso positivamente: la schiuma è molto assorbente e morbida, mantiene bene l’umidità senza risultare fastidiosa, e la borda adesiva è delicata sulla pelle, anche dopo ore di utilizzo. Si applica facilmente e si adatta bene, senza staccarsi ai primi movimenti. Pur non essendo particolarmente sottile, resta comodo da indossare sotto la calza senza creare fastidi quando cammini. Punti a favore: ✔️ Assorbe bene il liquido senza irritare la pelle ✔️ Delicato ed efficace anche su pelli sensibili ✔️ Rimane ben saldo Da sapere: – Il prezzo è un po’ più alto rispetto ai cerotti standard, ma la qualità si sente. – Non è ideale per ferite estremamente piccole (in quel caso potrebbe risultare “ingombrante”).

Sehr gut, saugt die Wundsekrete prima auf, Kleber juckt nicht, soll 3-4 Tage auf der Wunde Bleiben. Gibt es auch in 5,5x12,5 Wurde mir vom Arzt verschrieben. Da die Größe für meine Wunde am Sprunggelenk am besten Passte.
