Fix Microsoft's Port Problem
This generation of the Surface pro is so messed up on the ports that it has. Mini Display port, really? HDMI please. This adapter solves all of that. It simply works. It fits the snugly into the ports and it gives you 3 usb's and an HDMI along with an SD card reader on the bottom. It doesn't take up much room in my bag. I am happy I bought it.

Innovative
This surface docking station works very well for use with your surface. The design is innovative because it attaches to the USB C ports. I use it often to charge my mouse and keyboard while simultaneously charging the surface. I highly recommend this surface docking station whether for use at home or on the go.

Just What The Doctor Ordered!
A sleek addition to my Surface Pro, well anchored to the tablet frame by their USB and mini-HDMI ports when in use. Packs well in place with the add-on keyboard/cover I’ve used for years. I have used with diverse external monitors and had no problems. I found it well worth the money for audience presentations where an external monitor is essential.

Bulky, but a better design than the dangling dongle
I've had my Surface Pro 4 for years and loved everything except the lack of ports. This solves that problem. I was hesitant to get the dangling design, so this seemed like a better option. This is definitely true with the caveat that you don't use it with taught cords as they can disrupt the connection. The only thing I don't like is there is a somewhat glaring green light that is distracting when typing.Just an FYI, if your computer has a damaged charging part/battery, the HDMI function may not work. This is the case with mine. My charging part was damaged when I had the battery replaced so the battery no longer charges and it is required to plugged in at all times. I had hoped this would make my effectively desktop Surface into a multiscreen computer, but the damage made it so that my computer will not project the screen via HDMI. This is entirely because of my computer and not the product, but I wanted to include it for anyone in a similar situation.
