Thermodynamics: An Engineering Approach ISE Paperback – January 1, 2023

Excellent best book on Thermodynamics that is intuitive and enough math to make it joy to read.Each subject is explained and illustrated very beautifully. Great for engineering of all stripes and those dreading that undergrad Physical Chemistry class.

Book was perfect for my son’s college class. He can study much better with a physical book as opposed to an online book.

Was delivered quick, in great quality. Gave what was promised.

There are some typos which sucks if you depend on this to learn. Besides that obviously it’s a textbook to learn thought the grasping of concepts I will say is better from other sources like youtube.

I had to use this book for 3 different collage classes and this is what I have to say after essential going through the whole book. You will definitely learn a lot from this book. However, this book has two big issues. The first issue is that sometimes the authors will do a poor job of explaining a concept that will make you want to tare your hair out. Many times did I have to go to supplementary material to find explanations that were understandable. Then after going back to the book to read the original explanation I would be dumb founded at why they chose to word it the way they did. The second issue is that, to put it bluntly, the authors and editors need to take some English classes. In the majority of the text the writing is ok but in the review questions there are lots of syntax issues that make the questions hard to understand. This is really annoying because in order to solve the problems, the questions must be clear or you will interpret them incorrectly.
