Very useful
This is a very solid and quality built product. I love the ease of use and the versatility. You can make a ravioli or pierogies or even crab rangoons. I've had this product for years now and it's made out of a high quality durable plastic. The fact that you can make ravioli, pierogies, pizza pockets or Chinese dumplings so quickly and easily makes this a very useful kitchen tool.

spending nearly the same amount of time as when I roll out the dough by hand.
When it comes to convenience, the small press/maker does offer a certain level of ease in shaping the pierogies, dumplings, and uszka. The consistent size and shape it produces are impressive, ensuring uniformity in each piece. This feature can be particularly helpful when aiming for a professional presentation or if you're hosting a gathering where visual appeal matters. However, where I encountered a drawback was in the promised time-saving aspect. While the press/maker simplifies the shaping process, I found that I still had to roll out the dough separately and then transfer it to the press. This step, unfortunately, negated much of the expected time efficiency. It felt as if I was simply using an extra tool instead of truly expediting the process.

Works good
Some people have complained about small perogies. Being half Polish, these are no smaller then what I've seen at the store, deli's or what were made in the past when I was a kid. Size seems about normal to me. No problems using the press. Do recommend putting a little flour on the presses before adding dough. Won't have to do this every time however. Don't put a ton of filling in. Just like any press, too much and it wants to squeeze out the hinge side though this is no where near as bad as others. We have just ordered our second press to compliment the first and have a small assembly line when making these. With cleaning, a toothpick to get into the corners on the hinge side, otherwise cleans good.

Dumpling size but not pierogi size!
Can’t rate it for its use, because it was definitely for small dumplings, not large pierogis.

Polish Power
This press truly increases production of perogies. I use my Kitchen Aide mixer to mix the dough and with an attachment to roll out the dough in 5 inch sheets. My wife works along side me, taking a prepared sheet, places it across the press, adds 4 fillings, at once 4 perogies are made. This saves a lot of labor from using a rolling pin, cutting 6 inch circles, adding a filling, folding over the dough, and pinching the edge with a fork. Thus you can make 4 perogies in the time it takes to make an individual one. Don't forget to lightly flour the press to prevent sticking.

Very small pierogies.
Way to small for pierogies! No directions. Ended making them the old fashion way. Hand cutting for a decent size to hold enough filling. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Didn’t work for me.
Seemed easy enough and I really tried a number of times. But this just didn’t work for me. No matter how much filling I put it, it oozed out the back and chopped it off when I opened it back up. Never could figure out how to make one that didn’t do that. I found it easier to use a glass to cut the circle, fill and pinch shut myself. I ended up returning this. A bit expensive too
