Honestly these are really cool. I use them in standard candlesticks and love lighting my house in the middle of the night. I did have that didn't work outta the box. Would still buy again.

Perfect for a birthday party! I'd recommend getting two sets for a more authentic feel, but these worked great. Kids loved them.

These floating candles look very cool once hung up! They all seem to work well and the flickering light makes these look like real candles. I ordered the ones with the remote wand which I highly recommend. Because you can turn them off and on with just one touch of a button. The ones without the remote will have to be manually turned off one by one, which can be quite a pain since you hang them from the ceiling. So definitely pay the few extra bucks for the ones with the remote. It’s definitely worth it. I do however have two downsides to these candles. 1. They use A TON of batteries! Each candle requires 2 AA batteries each and the remote wand requires 1 AA battery. So you will need to have 25 batteries which are not included. 2. The string that they give you to hang these is super thin and it is very difficult to tie these up because it is so thin that it is very hard to work with. However it does appear to be quite strong which is a good thing. Definitely not a deal breaker, but it took me a good hour just to get them all tied up. Overall the downsides do not outweigh the positives because these really add a very cool floating candle effect which will be perfect for my upcoming Halloween party. I definitely recommend these floating candles if you want to add a really cool effect to your Halloween or Harry Potter display! Just remember to purchase plenty of batteries and be prepared to take some time to tie them up as this part can be quite tedious especially because the string is so thin you can barely see it.

These were such a hit for a birthday party we planned. Absolutely loved the magic of the wand to turn the lights on and off. The plastic material is durable and the look of the candles floating was perfect. We used them for a birthday party and turned around and used them as a fun decoration in my child's room. My only complaint is that it was slightly difficult to get the fishing line through the hole on the candle. It would slip out quickly when we were trying to tie the knots. I would have rather them come with the line already on the candles. Once we got them all tied up they have stayed on well.

Really love how these look they were a great addition to our Harry Potter party but when you pull them off the ceiling it peels the paint! So wasn't very happy about that. They also require a lot of batteries that aren't included.....between the wand and the lights you need 25 batteries!

This addition to our Harry Potter Feast was the cherry on top. Magical, fun, loved the ability to turn off and on. It couldn't had been more perfect. The only drawback is the candle itself is heavier that the fishing line had to be doubled or else the fishing line would break. We figured out how to get around that problem though.
