A great little toy, I bought this after watching some of the videos of these in action with the idea of opening up the casing and replacing with better gubbins… but I honestly see no reason to now 🤷‍♂️ See initially I found another one that looked exactly the same but it was getting 3 stars overall because of all the disgruntled dads leaving bad reviews because little Timmy had received shoddily made products and numerous photos of the gubbins inside showed things like wires not soldered and whatnot. So I found THIS one for £9.00 odd CHEAPER but much better reviews so I thought I’d get it and do the same as planned but here we are, I agree with the majority of the reviews, I’m really impressed! My Cat (Ripley) thinks I’ve bought it for her to play with - I do NOT try to web her up - I fire it at cardboard boxes and empty plastic bottles, she then waits until I retract the line and then she chases it right up to the point you click the magnet thingy back in for the next go. She’s had it in her mouth, she’s caught it numerous times while retracting the line, done that cat thing that looks like they’re Rocky Balboa on a speedball on the bob end and it’s stood up to all of it. I’m thinking if I run it right into the ground by letting her play my spidey game then THATs when I’ll soup it up with replacement parts but that doesn’t look like it’s happening any time soon 👌 So yes, tidy little product, very impressed 👍 I did take a video but it’s caught me swearing on it, unfortunately.

My boy loves it, tangles occasionally as expected but also far he’s had way more fun than many other toys so definitely recommend

One star is for the fun my child was able to have for a couple of hours before it broke! Used properly and safely by him and myself. His 7th birthday present has broken his wee heart because he waited months for his special day to get it to go with his spider man suit. He is the real spider man so this is a very serious thing for him to have to deal with. The mechanism to rewind the string gets stuck a bit but works for the most part, it just can’t clip back in to launch any more. Fully charged and no knots or anything jamming it. The lever to launch doesn’t spring back up properly either. I don’t want to start taking this thing apart to see if I can mend it. It’s only hours old! Very poor quality and very disappointing. Clearly over priced for what it is also! Now I need to take it from his to return, wait for refund and replace. It is also extremely stiff to “click” the string back into place and I’ve had to help a couple of times. This takes away independent play but I would say unless your child follows instructions carefully then it should only be used under adult supervision or by older kids who understand dangers and are strong enough to work it

This item only lasted one day as the suckered on the end got lost n only one included. £40 and unable to track for replacement suckered end. One v upset grandson.

Works well. The cup can come off the end and takes a while to thread back on. Also can become tangles easily. Needs care when playing

I supposed to be for kids, and in fact it come with a Spiderman little glove, but my husband love it. You can use with magnet, that is really powerful or a sucker.
