I got these and now want the 12 inch :) my wife and daughters hands are smaller and got them as I thought the 12 might be a bit large and heavy for longer use BUT going to get the 12s I am a kai fanatic now smooth oh so smooth on ultralight tech camping fabrics bug net or even marine vinyl ! daughter did fancy prom dress and from all types of fabric just wow smooth you have to smile when you get them and start cutting everything to just smile with how awesome they are !!!! male here 5'11" large hands like wear XL or XXL gloves and the handles are very comfy its a 3 finger in handle the 12 inch look to be full 4 finger handle ? anyway back to these :) the wife much smaller than me finds them super comfy ! I was curious about this when reading the desc on the smaller lighter which is great when you do not want to or need to be using a larger shear yeah I would get them again :)

I run a canvas business. These are the best by far. These should be sharpened by a professional or with a professional grade sharpener (like what I use in my shop). But it will be a long time before you will need to sharpen. With my use and heavy fabric I am amazed of how sharp they stay. I cut everything from marine canvas to 40 mil clear vinyl without any issues. High quality and the best you can buy.

I bought so many scissors from Gingher to Shozaburo. Didn't really like any of them really... This one is the best value! Worth every penny and mid priced compared to sewing scissors in market. Try this one our for yourself!

Incredible quality that you need to feel to believe. Perfectly balanced, incredibly smooth and razor sharp. Perfect straight cuts right to the tip of the blade. Glides through multiple layers of denim as easy as silk. The scissors have a very satisfying, smooth motion that is unparalleled. A joy to use.

I loved these scissors but after 18 months they started to developed chips and were unusable. I tried getting them sharpened ( twice) but due to being a serrated edge they don’t sharpen the same and again started to chip and basically chew the fabric. I use weights not pins and the knife sharpener kept saying ‘ it looks like you hit a pin’. It’s very disappointing.
