Intel Arc A380 ELF, 6GB GDDR6, Single Fan, SA380E-6G

This is an amazing little card. If you're looking for a card that needs no external power, has moderate performance, and more than 4 GB of VRAM then this is a solid option. I got mine for a LAN computer that needs to be compact, cool, and not draw too much power. It does all that and plays LAN games at 1440p 144 FPS for good measure. The fact that Intel has WAY better driver support than Nvidia on Linux is icing on the cake. Having never owned an Arc card before, I was prepared for shenanigans, but my Intel Arc experience in the last few months has been... Well... Boring. It just works. This card offers very solid performance for the price.

Excellent GPU .I can watch 4 k video without any stuttering in my CPU,I'm yet to try some gaming, even when my PC has not resizable bar the video quality is superb! CPU not stressed.Memory is a little high but that's because Windows 11 is a memory hog even after de-bloating it. I have now to get a 4k monitor,but even in the 1080P I have now the difference is outstanding , it's not noisy as some users claim. And it's a really affordable card, it is the first time I have a decent video card. Performance is very good,video not lagging at all like before having this card installed. Thank you Intel for making an affordable high quality GPU !!, you made a heck of a difference right there. Note: I don't have a fancy computer just a Dell Optiplex 7040 4 cores 8 treads,Ms2 ssd and 32 gigs of RAM. This GPU makes a great upgrade ! My only complain: it came without screws,luckily I had a spare one.

I wanted a low power graphics card for a Dell desktop, to drive a 4K monitor, also Dell. The computer comes with a weak power supply, less than 300W, so the card needed to be low power too. I don't game, but a watch videos so I wanted decent graphics performance. I couldn't find any configuration tools for the card for my Linux system. Out of the box, there was a lot of tearing not only watching videos but also just scrolling web pages. Horrible. Then I found out that the monitor refresh rate must match the graphics card frame rate (which I didn't know how to find out). I tried setting the monitor refresh rate to 120 Hz, and the tearing went away! I'm happy, I got what I was looking for. What else? Totally quiet. Affordable. Very compatible with Linux (it's the product line Linus Torvalds uses).

Plug-and-play on Arch with the 7.1 kernel. My desktop is pretty much a web browsing and Youtube watching machine these days so I can't comment on gaming or video encoding and whatnot, but for basic usage it seems to Just Work. I'm thankful to Intel for making low-power discrete GPU's which, as far as I know, AMD and Nvidia do not.

I'm building a new computer for my wife, and wanted to use a standalone video card. I already own one of these cards for my computer, which is used primarily for graphics design, so I thought I'd buy a card that I already know. I assume this card will work for gaming, but that is not its application here. But, this card fulfills every graphic need we have and did not break the bank as some high-end video cards do. Also, my experience with the Arc A380 is that it works well in both Windows 10/11 and Ubuntu Linux. Colors are spot on. If you're printing on a high-end printer, you will most likely need to drop the card's brightness and contrast settings so your print will be correct--best to use a test file and print and/or a calibrator. The board's profiles automatically mesh with what's needed to guarantee that a book cover will look the same from the printer as it does on my computer. One final note: The card simultaneously supports my 34-inch Samsung wide-screen monitor (100 Hz refresh rate) and Sony wide-screen TV at the same time

Good GPU if you just want display out without needing additional power outside of the pcie slot itself. Single fan, fairly quiet but that’s not surprising given the heatsink and low wattage. It really isn’t going to be a good gaming GPU, if you’re on a budget this isn’t it. This GPU is better suited for lightweight gaming (Stardew valley type of stuff) unless you like 720p resolution with low settings. Where this shines is the AV1 encoding, if you need that this GPU will work. Or if you need GPU for troubleshooting graphics issues. Drivers, tried on Linux mint and windows 11 it works, didn’t notice any glitching or abnormal behavior at 1080P (desktop). Why 4 stars? The price…. You can get something far more versatile for just a bit more or less if you don’t mind not having driver support. This in my opinion is a $80-$100 GPU due to limited use case. Just because something’s “low profile” doesn’t mean it’s worth more. Overall it’s decent, but don’t buy it if you’re looking to game at a reasonable resolution.

First off, this thing is great if you're on a budget and just need something to game. There's some issues with support for older titles, but otherwise it's a respectable option. This isn't what I bought it for though. The Arc series of GPUs have absolutely fantastic hardware accelerated GPU encoding and decoding, making them ideal for NAS systems. I use this in my NAS to run transcode for Plex so everyone in my home can be watch multiple streams of movies we own, transcoded in great quality on the fly. The card is small, quiet, cool and light for my use case, so it has a nice home in my server rack in my living room.

For light gaming this gpu will actually work really well, 1080p and pretty much all esports titles will run very well on it. I was more interested in this specific model since it only uses pcie slot power, no 6 or 8 pin required. I mated this to a Beelink GTi13 with the dock, running ubuntu 25.04 and it works perfect for plex transcoding. Card is silent, the fan doesnt spin much when left on auto, temps are fine. The card is lower wattage and essentially I just plug it in and forget it, I'm not worrying about tuning fan profiles. Even an 8 pin powered a380 cannot pull 100w, the die just want use that much power. I do wish it had a backplate but I will probably just put kapton tape on the backside incase the cat decides to lick it or something.

Semplicissimo il montaggio, per il collegamento con il monitor 3840x2160 ho usato un cavo DM. Dopo l’aggiornamento automatico del driver il risultato è di piena soddisfazione immagini ben definite, colori brillanti e grande reattività grazie ai 6gb di memoria. Il consumo è contenuto (45W) . Silenzioso

Positiv ist, dass die Karte viele moderne Videocodecs unterstützt.

Esta grafica la verdad que funciona muy bien para juegos ligeros (fortnite, rocket league, etc). Hay algunos que se puede jugar en ultra pero la mayoría funcionan en gráficos medios, eso sí, por arriba de los 60 fps. Muy pequeña y se puede instalar en cualquier pc, ya que no le hace falta alimentacion externa.

The card works great! It's used in a Jellyfin media server for encoding/decoding/transcoding video, and it works great in Truenas Scale. This card can even do AV1 decoding/encoding, which is rare for this price. The card is quiet when utilized and when its idling, the fans stop spinning automatically. This means the card does have fan-stop at lower utilization/temps. I haven't noticed any fan coil wine either. NOTE: I do not game on this card, so this card is not being fully utilized/stressed, since i use it for my media server (decoding/encoding).

Bonne petite carte cette Sparkle Intel Arc A380 ELF, je la teste et utilise sur mon ancien PC avec un APU AMD A8-6600K Black Edition, avec 16 Go de mémoire ram, ( je l'ai testé aussi avec un CPU Ryzen 5 4500 et un Ryzen 5 PRO 2400G) la carte tourne nikel sur tous les jeux même ceux actuels en 1080p et avec les graphismes en HIGH. Niveau des performances je dirais qu'elle se situe au niveau entre une RX 6600 et une RX 5500 XT de chez AMD et pour Nvidia entre une GTX 1650 et une RTX 3050, certains disent qu'une RX 6400 à de meilleures performances bien pas pour moi je l'ai comparé avec ma RX 6400 et ma RX 6600 et ma RTX 3050, elle est plus proche en performances de la RTX 3050 et de la RX 6600. Bonne petite carte d'entrée de gamme de chez Intel de plus avec 6 Go de mémoire vram cela décharge un peu le processeur et le PC pour afficher les graphismes des jeux vidéo qu'avec une carte de 4 Go. Pour finir cette carte ne nécessite pas de connexion câble annexe 6/8 pins, elle fonctionne directement avec l'alimentation du port PCI-E du PC, et elle fonctionne de large avec une simple alimentation au minimum de 450 watts selon la configuration de votre PC. Voila au final une bonne petite carte pour jouer convenablement au jeux vidéo en 1080p, et une carte qui permet l'encodage/décodage vidéo au besoin cela reste utile pour certains utilisateurs, et pour un prix de moins de 150 €. POUR INFOS: j'ai testé une 100 de jeux vidéos et de demos de jeux anciens de Windows 98 à Windows 10 Pro 64b et tous les jeux fonctionnent parfaitement et correctement pour jouer en 1080p avec cette carte, mêmes les jeux actuels comme: Banishers Ghosts of New Eden, Dragon Age 4, Star Wars Outlaws, Alan Wake 2, Days Gone, Starfield, Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy, etc... ou plus anciens comme Resident Evil 3, Max Payne, Doom 3, Prey, Messiah, Blood Omen 2, Need for Speed HP2, Dark Earth, etc... ( Tests des jeux vidéos avec les graphismes en HIGH Full HD et affichage en 1080p). Je vous conseil cette carte si vous souhaitez monter un petit PC petit budget pour jouer correctement en 1080p, elle est pas mal performante. NOTEZ AUSSI la fréquence d'horloge est OC d'origine à 2450 MHz et non 2000 comme indiqué. IMPORTANT : message pour ARNAUD LACOUTURE ci-dessous, la carte A380 ELF fonctionne parfaitement avec les CPU/APU AMD sans utiliser la Rezise Bar propre aux CPU INTEL, je ne comprend pas que vous n'arriviez pas à utiliser la carte qui fonctionne même avec de vieilles cartes mères.
