Bought this for our 13 year old son, who isn't allowed a smartwatch at school. He's previously had various tracker-type watches, but they kept going wrong and we wanted him to have something that told him the time reliably but also looked "cool" (as he put it). I hadn't realised that Casios are cool, but apparently they are, and after a bit of research we bought him this one. It's very good value, has all the features our son wants, and definitely looks, er, cool. OK, personally I can't see why he needs to know the time in various cities all over the world, but if that keeps a young teenager happy, that's fine with me. So, yes, I'd definitely recommend this watch. The only problem we had was with the metal strap, which had to have some links removed to fit our son's wrist. Long story short, I couldn't do it (in spite of watching various videos), so we ended up buying him a plastic/resin strap separately.

Who doesn't love a cool stylish expensive looking without the price tag watch + James bond style , i made sure my one was full Metal as i know some people talk about plastic etc but its perfect for me great for the watch collection and insanely easy to use . water resistance is fine as advertised and keeps time fine , i use this watch for all occasions or day to day useage

The watch brings tons of options at an affordable price and with a good design. It's good to have it on your wrist, especially when you travel.

I was looking for a watch to wear when I am charging my Galaxy Ultra SmartWatch which I prefer to do during day so I can use at night for monitoring my sleep, I had worn Casio many years ago and their watches were always reliable, so I looked for a Casio watch which had all the features I wanted and at under £50. This watch is 100m waterproof so I can use it when swimming (sea or pool), dual time, multiple alarms, backlight, stop watch, count down timer, hour signal, and great battery life (10 year!!), adjustable stainless steel strap. Perfect for what I needed. I took 2 links out each side of the clasp to reduce the strap for my wrist (about 170mm). Highly recommended, so good I sometimes wear it as my preferred watch for certain occasions.

This Casio AE-1200WHD is unbeatable for the price. Lightweight but still feels solid on the wrist. Battery life? Practically eternal, I expect years without even thinking about it. Timekeeping is spot-on, and the interface is dead simple to use. I’ve swum countless times in the pool and even in the sea with it and had no issues at all. You can even find screen protectors if you're picky about scratches, and there's a whole modding community out there if you’re into customising (just keep in mind that might void the warranty). Overall, just a badass little watch.

What more can be said, it's a classic watch and should form part of any watch collection. I'm typically an automatic watch person and I have several ranging in price, but my daily drivers strap broke and was an expensive fix so I bought this to tied me over. Since receiving it, I haven't bothered getting the strap replaced on my other watch. The metal strap is recommended as it gives it a touch of formality with a suit whilst being casual to wear in other settings. If you've not got one, just buy one. You won't regret it.

I originally had the all black resin version of this watch, and I ended up getting rid of it as I didn’t feel much of an attachment to it. After seeing this version of the AE-1200 on quite a few wrists, I figured this would be a great watch to get, as I don’t have a whole lot of watches that have metal bracelets. Plus it was my birthday when I made the purchase for this watch, so it was perfect timing to get a new watch. Upon getting this watch, it arrived in great condition, despite being an open box deal from Warehouse. The bracelet came standard, as it seemed to be untouched and hasn’t had any adjustments made to it. I had to search up a YouTube video on how to adjust the bracelet, and it took some effort to get the right size for my wrist (my wrist is approximately 6.5 inches), but it ultimately came out nicely, and it wears nicely on my wrist. It’s not too difficult to adjust the bracelet if you have the right tools for the job. As for the features of the watch, they’re quite useful and you get a lot of them for the price that this watch is priced for. You get a world time function, 5 alarms + hourly chime, stop watch feature, and countdown timer. The alarm has a decent volume. The backlight on this watch is a nice amber coloured light, which you can set for either 1.5 seconds or 3 seconds. In addition to the world time function, you can also set 3 separate times on the Home Screen alongside your home time, and you’re able to skim through them at the touch of a button without having to change to the world time mode. The map is a nice touch too, highlighting the corresponding time zone based on the city you selected when setting your times. The size of the watch is approximately 42 mm in diameter, so it may be a big watch for those with smaller wrists, but for my 6.5 inch wrist, it’s not too big. I’d also say that this version of the watch wouldn’t look too bad to wear during a formal occasion as well, as the metallic look gives it a more dressy look. So it’s a very flexible watch to wear for both casual and formal occasions. 100 metres of water resistance is more than enough for the average person, so this watch is capable of taking some splashes. However, since it isn’t dive-certified, one should take caution when taking this watch into the water. The only flaw that this watch has are the materials. The bracelet and case-back are stainless steel, but the case itself is resin painted in silver (similar to the case material on the black AE-1200). This was probably done to keep the costs lower, but, it’s not a problem for me. Overall, this is a great watch for the price it goes for, and I’d say it’s worth the purchase. Only time will tell how well this watch will hold up.

La montre est de bonne qualité ; cependant, habitué aux montres quartz des années 80, celle-ci est beaucoup plus légère (le boitier ne me semble pas être en acier). Le bracelet est de moins bonne facture, très léger. Le fonctionnement de la montre est très bon, étanche. La vitre semble néanmoins sensible aux rayures. Rapport qualité / prix correct.
