It lets you add a GoPro mount to any standard threaded accessory
This little adapter is the perfect accessory if you want to add a GoPro style mount to pretty much anything that has a standard threaded mount. It works great on a camera cage as depicted, and for my use case it has worked out great on an Insta360 cage allowing me to attach my GoPro to it as well. It is made of aluminum and has a nicely integrated tightening wheel which works well. It has a fairly specific use case so make sure you know what you're after, but that being said, it is a great addition to any GoPro kit.

Exactly what I needed for turning an older gopro in to a stationary camera.
There really isn't much to go in to about this item. It's worked exactly as I intended for my application. I got sick of plastic mounts breaking or shifting out of place on my jeep for my older gopro and needed something that fastened in to the threaded hole on my roof rack. This fit that bill and so far seems really sturdy. Camera has stayed in the same spot after a full trail run down a rugged forest service road.
