I love the smooth finish I get from it! This is my favorite hair appliance of all time! Literally takes SECONDS to go from looking like Lynard Skynard to Barbie!

Q: How well does it straighten coarse thick hair?

Not well. I have coarse thick hair it took 4 passes and it still wasn't straight. Flat iron works better and faster.

Q: Questioncan you use this on wet hair to dry?

I dry my hair naturally then I use the brush

Q: Is there Teflon in it at all?

The handle is a soft metal with a smooth surface. The bristles of the brush are a coated / silicone feel!
