How do you distinguish an authentic Laguiole from a counterfeit?

Authentic, French-made Laguiole knives are stamped with the brand name/country of origin & come with a certificate of authenticity. Counterfeits are made outside of France, not stamped with its country of origin, & often made of low-end steel.

Do micro-serrated knives require sharpening?

Micro-serrated knives do not require sharpening and will retain a sharp cutting edge for the lifetime of the knife.

Are all Jean Debost products dishwasher safe?

Most Jean Dubost products are dishwasher safe, however hand washing is recommended to extend the life of the product. Pieces with wood handles or brass accents are not dishwasher safe.

Cute but not hefty enough for my liking!

Strikingly pretty and shipped fast in nice, minimalistic packaging but I was hoping they would feel a bit heavier in the hand for this price. Very attractive but I don’t need extras.
