I’ve received this product and after I stared using it, oil started leaking from the motor into the grinder. I returned the product and it was replaced quickly which I appreciate. However, when I received the new grinder and unboxed it the lid was broken and came right off. I wanted to try it one more time but when I went to return it they would only give me the option to receive a refund and not a replacement. This product has such potential I really wanted to give it one more chance but I will not buy it again.I did use the first grinder for about three weeks before oil started leaking from the motor. The way the motor fit to the grinder and how the stand fit in between is second to none. I thought the way it clicked together was so precise and well done. Also I used it for espresso grinding for my Flare Pro and it did a great job. The way the grinder clicks between adjustment is very smooth and easy. The grinder easily adjusted to make the perfect shot.This is a fantastic concept, and the materials used seem high-quality, but the product has major design and durability problems that need to be addressed. This grinder is very expensive for a portable grinder but if it worked it would be well worth the price. However, with all of the issues and problems it is not worth it. I hope they can fix these in the future because again the concept and design is first class.

It is one of my best investments I travel the country and it has a company me elevating my coffee experience wherever it is I go I love pour overs I love Moka pots I love French presses and this portable conical biBurr grinder does it all it is easily one of my most prized possessions life on the road. It's very easy to clean not noisy at all it's not the fastest grinder but quality over speed is preferred it's easy to take apart just take the little allen wrench that comes with the kit and that's all. It's a bit pricey but well worth the investment I recommend it.

I'll start by saying that if the portability/battery powered aspect of this grinder isn't important to you, don't get it. That's the only thing that makes the price justifiable. It's a great grinder, but there are other great plugin grinders for less.If you do see value in making a portable grinder your primary grinder, this is by far one of the best I've found.What I like:+ Excellent build quality (all metal construction)+ Bearing fits shaft well for minimal burr wobble+ Super easy grind size adjustment+ virtually no retention (I measured about 0.1g of retention)+ Looks nice enough to leave out on the counterWhat I don't like:- Difficult to tell what the battery level is- A bit slow (takes over a minute to grind ~18g of espresso, though this is typical for small burr grinders)- After ~6 months (a few kg of coffee beans), the overall battery life seems to have gone down quite a bitOther notes:While I can't super accurately measure particle distribution, the advertised claims seem accurate-ish. Using a 200um sieve, only about 3% got through from my typical espresso grind setting (5-15).Also, don't pay the full $300 for this. It's almost always on sale for $40-60 off, or more.

LOVED this coffee grinder until it stopped working 1 month after the warranty expired. Approximately 19 months after purchase, the drive motor now skips and will not turn the grinder. The motor had leaked mineral oil for a while as others said and this likely contributed to the failure. Taking the drive motor apart revealed shoddy assembly, stripped screws, and broken plastic supports.Customer service has been entirely unhelpful and has offered no assistance to either repair the grinder or offer a solution for purchase.Stay away!

Two years (almost to the date) and this grinder is starting to peter out. It just stops mid-grind and we have to shake it and start again. And then again. And again. It’s been happening every single day for at least a month.I expected more durability from a $300 coffee grinder. Kind of regretting this purchase.

It takes "forever" to grind espresso, a bit loud, yet it works well.I enjoy the design, all-metal construction, portability, how compact it is, and a breeze to clean.

The grinder was working great until it didn't. It has an issue where it didn't turn on about 10 months after purchasing. I tried calling their customer service line but it only goes to a message saying that they basically don't have a live service operator. I emailed customer service and heard nothing back for a week. I ended up fixing the grinder myself to get it working again.About 1 month later, it now has an issue where it won't grind anything no matter what I grind setting I have it at. I've been emailing customers service for about 3 weeks and they are terribly slow at responding. I've only received 1 response in 3 weeks of me sending emails.I ended up buying a different grinder that works way better, faster, quieter, and cheaper than this one.Save your money and get a cheaper grinder that won't break under 1 year. For the price of this grinder, you would expect better quality.
