Q: Is it warm enough? I live in northern area and I'm worried whether it meets my need.

It's says that the highest temperature will reach 113°F, I didn't test. For me, it's warm enough

Q: I want to use it on my armchair, any size suggestion?

Throw or Twin will be fine. If you want to be fully covered, Twin zise will be better

I have never experienced this anomaly. While blankets have been cool to the touch i would assume because our bodies are naturally significantly warmer than that of a room temperature blanket and they would keep us warm by trapping some body heat... but im not sure. I would suggest turning the blanket on for about 5 mins before using.

This is very easy to use. I actually got it for my daughter in law and she loves it. She said it is very low tech so an older person should love it.
