Comfy, and durable.
I bought a pair of these in 2021. I work in the energy sector, on my feet most of the day, lots of climbing, kneeling etc. I've worn these for outdoor activities as well. Just had to buy a replacement pair in the spring of 2025. Very comfortable, easy to break in.

Timberland Pros 8 Inch
In my 2nd photo, is a visual comparison between the newly purchased Timberland 8 Inch 14 wide (on right) and my previously purchased Timberland 6 Inch 13 regular (on left). I purchased the 14 wide because the 13 regular (which I normally wear) was a bit tight on my toes in the toe box. After wearing the 13 regular at my job, I started to get major foot fatigue after a few hours of wear, even started to lightly blister on my big toe & pinky toe. I work 10 hour shifts, 5-6 days per week, so needless to say, my dogs were hurting! I highly recommend to potential buyers to purchase the next size up in wide. So if you normally wear a 13 like me, get the 14 wide width, trust me, you’ll thank me later! Also, the 8inch has 400 grams of insulation vs 200 grams with the 6inch. Once you put the 8inch on, you can immediately notice quite a bit more insulation, which helps cushion your feet better. How does this product fit? The 14 wide is exactly what my feet needed! My toes aren’t crammed in the toe box area anymore, due to the added steel toe insert. As far as arch support, you’ll probably need to purchase an orthotic insole if need be. I do have a Dr Sholl’s (heavy duty) insole in my 13 regular 6 inch, specifically made for people whom are 200+ pounds & offers a decent arch support if that’s your thing. I’ll most likely just swap insoles, but the factory Timberland (anti fatigue) insole is pretty decent I admit.Overall, I’m very pleased with sizing up to the next size up and getting it in wide. I just love Timberland Boots in general, as they’re very comfortable overall & can take a good beating & lasts months, even years. It’s a good stylish, traditional work boot look & the overall construction of the boots hold up well for me at least. I’ve read horror story reviews on here with these boots, and I guess over the years I’ve just been lucky to not getting lemons I guess? Never have I had any of my Timberland Boots fall apart or crack etc like some of these reviews. Sometimes I think some of those reviews are completely false & are created by competitors in the work boot market, just to attempt to steer folks away from the brand lol! I’m sure there are legitimate lemons out there however. I’ve been wearing Timberland Boots since I was a teenager in middle school (I’m 40 now) so we’re talking 25+ years & never have I had lemons!

More affordable than the normal timberland boots while being comfortable
It was a bit late on the delivery, a few day later than my other delivery i ordered the same time.It arrived in good condition. The product itself looked good, it feels good when you wear it, the style fits my aesthetic, which is the part of the reason i want to buy a good looking safety shoe while looking not too bad. In this case, it looked very good. This is my first timberland product, so i dont know what to expect from them, but i have heard both good and bad stories from them. It is better than what I imagined.I think because I’m short, the boots are a little too tall for me, of course, you can interpret this as a good thing or a bad thing. The taller the boot, the more protection it provided to the calves. Also, since I’m most likely wearing jeans, the lower part of jean keeps rubbing against me skin and the boot, which does take a day to figure out a better way to arrange my jeans. After that, its the best safety shoes I’ve ever worn. Probably because the company safety shoes are usually of low qualityAfter some the jean adjustment, it didnt feel any discomfort, the boot upper rim (not sure if thats what it’s called) is soft and quite pleasant to the touch. The sole parts are also great. It can get really heavy rain in where i work, but i haven’t tried it against the weather so I’m not sure the waterproofing function. Cant say that for sure. The price is actually more affordable than the other normal timberslands I’ve seen around my area. So a definite good purchase for me.Edit:- This is first time since it last rained this heavily, so I can write a review about the water-proofing. I dont feel any water seeped through the seams, which is a win for me. Like the driest place on my body is both my feet. I just hope this condition can last for a long time. Given that this is a steel toe safety shoe, I have high expectation for it, may be at least 3 years?
