Digital Thermometer with External Sensor, Magnet, Suction Cup, Water Thermometer, Aquarium, Refrigerator, Freezer (White)

Purchased to keep track of temps in our camper refrigerator - easy to put above refrigerator to enable us to check the temps without continually opening the door to check. Seems accurate, quality is good, bright enough to see easily and very pleased.

Large digital display. Sensor sends accurate temperature. This model does not display real time temperatures, but at 10 second increments. Works as advertised.

We are using this with our RV refrigerator when out. The thermocouple probe/sensor and wire slip right between the door gaskets and gives us a good idea of the internal temp. Its demonstrated good battery life and is easily readable...a good design. Well built, it continues to perform well.

Pros:- Temperature readings match calibrated thermapen within thermapen's tolerance.- Uses regular easy to find and cheap AAA batteries. This is reason alone to buy it as coin cells quickly cost more than the unit!- Display is large/clear enough for old eyes to see across the room.- Feature (min/max) work as expected- Works well as a remote sensor for aquariums, greenhouses, and outside air hanging out a window.Cons- Thick cable leaks cold from upright fridge/freezer. Put sensitive part of face up to cable passing under door seal, and you'll feel significant cold air draft if your fridge/freezer has a circulation fan. While the freezer might keep up, its significantly increasing energy consumption and shortening the compressor life. Use in a chest freezer (without forced fan) seems to leak much less cold air. There is also no frost buildup right around cable inside the freezer indicating little air leak.- No alarms. A high or low alarm would be desired if a fridge/freezer is too warm, or a greenhouse/aquarium is too cold.

I use this to monitor my ice chest temperature and it works great. It has a nice long sensor wire. My ice chest lid crushes the sensor wire but does not damage it. The temperature memory function is cool. I like it.

Great digital thermometer. The external sensor has a magnet which I attached to the outside of my freezer. Now I can pass by checking the temperature without opening the door. Easy to read large display and the set up is very easy.

Does not last in a hot tub. sensor gets eaten away.

Works well using it for a cooler and love how it’s outside and easy to read temp with just a glance.
