We have 2 fireplaces with inserts we hadn’t used with wood for years. We decided to burn some wood this year but the chimneys had never been swept, so we got this product to do it ourselves.The kit was very complete, assembled easily and cleaned the chimneys well, including the bird nests in them.I’m not sure how much it costs to get a professional chimney sweep these days, but I’ll bet it’s a lot more than this kit costs. Naturally this process is sort of messy, but if you can deal with that it’s a cinch.Highly recommended!

I didn't expect much but it worked like well. They say you need a 24V drill but my 18v Bosch worked fine. I the rods have to make a pretty sharp bend to enter the chimney stack from my Dutchwest stove. The rods were flexible enough to work make that bend and two other slight bends. The rods click together and are hard to get apart but you want that because you don't want them coming apart in the chimney. I expected the accessories to be garbage but the thick piece of plastic for the floor is useful and I used the gloves and brush that came with it. It did not take long and was not as messy as I expected. The rods and brush held up well and I will use it again next year. I put this off many years but its a simple task.

Easy to use, worked extremely well, Was surprised how much soot came out of my chimney. I used a battery operated Dewalt Drill and it till less than an hour to set up plastic , ( included), clean the flue, and vacuum . I suggest using a shop vac behind the plastic curtain in the fireplace while cleaning to keep any dust from getting out . EASY

My chimney is on the outside of my house and is approximately 25’ tall. I ran the whole assembly up the flue then attached to my drill and slowly allowed it to work its way back down while spinning. Did this 3 times because it was so easy to do. Wish I would have had this for the last 20 years. No more need to get the ladder out and risk my life climbing on the roof! Worth every penny!It would be nice if there were metal wire cleaning whiskers as an option but it appeared to clean just fine.

I have my own chimney business and I purchased these thinking they were cheaper than the other brand. Well, they are much cheaper than the other brands very little tension rod snapped if you bend them they snap and break also. Do not purchase, stay away from this product and this manufacturer, our garbage as they are not worth the money will lose more polls (rods) in a short amount of time and never get the job done. Not worth the money or the hassle

This is a complete kit that is very to use, and quality for the price. We cleaned out chimney this weekend, and this kit was very effective at the job. No regrets with the purchase.

Surpassed my expectations and would highly recommend this cleaner. I live in the northeast and burn wood. Climbed on my roof for 37 years. I don’t know why I never saw or thought of one of these but this is well built and easy to use. A little common sense and using 2 people was so much easier and SAFER than ever.
