Not as far as I know, however, I haven't sent random samples to a lab for the type of comprehensive toxicology analysis that this would necessitate for 100% accuracy. I'm crazy trusting like that.

Is it suitable for vegetarians?

While it still has gelatin, it isn't suitable no. Gelatin is in no way vegetarian friendly. An essential component for gelatin is animal proteins from bones and such-- so unless you're getting skin, bone, or ligaments without killing something it's a problem. Even if that were the case, most vegetarians would consider eating any of those ingredients to be an issue.

Swanson's prints the date of manufacture of the supplement on the label. My understanding is the product is good for at least one year from that date.
