Doesn’t have an odor it’s extremely sticky. I worked with it on a nice day where it was in the 70s outside. Make sure you have a couple extra blades for a razor knife unless you have utility scissors regular household ones don’t work very well. This stuff is tough. You get a considerable amount of material to work with I did two doors and most of the spare wheel well in my trunk of my Mk7 VW Gti. It doesn’t really make that much of a difference by itself. If you wrap the speaker hole of a door before you install it this will help with vibration and improve the quality of your speaker. Pretty good value for what you get. Box had pretty good weight to it. I recommend getting a roller to smooth it out and you really only have to just wipe the panel off unless it’s dirty. This stuff will stick to anything. My only complaint is that it’s a bit thin otherwise does the job well!

Easy to apply to spare tire well of Lexus RX350. Reduced resonance. Next step is to add closed cell foam to further reduce sound coming into cabin.

Really good sound deadening material for my Buick. There are several things about this I like that I liked. - It's made in the USA, which shows in the quality. - Speaking of quality, the butyl material has very good adhesion properties. My hood has some indents in it for the heat insulation to fit into and the material stuck and conformed to the indents. - I was able to use scissors to cut to shape. In most situations I had to use a knife on other brands. So easy to cut and install. - The roller I used did an excellent job. The foil was strong enough that the roller didn't rip the foil on top of it. I also had this issue with some other brands. All in all it does a very good job. The sound of the intake and loud injectors all went down significantly. Cruising on the highway also showed it lowered road noise from the front wheels. Even with the amount I used I still have 3 sheets left. Definitely a good buy.

Sink is a Kohler, 18 gauge, and though it has little dampening pads, they are not adequate to provide any significant dampening. Turning on our Moen 1/2 hp garbage disposal, it sounds like an engine. My thought was that the sink was increasing the sound through the vibrations of the sink walls and bottom. Thus my idea to purchase your product. I bought the 10 sqft pack which was the perfect size. It allowed me to triple up on the sink's front and back walls and the bottom. Single layer on the sides. The impact? Fantastic: it significantly dampened the sound by increasing the mass of the sink by not allowing it to amplify the disposal sound. That was why I liked your butyl material versus similar products that were just foam rubber. Easy to cut to fit and easy to install.

I'm one of those people who research for a week then buy the best product possible. Often times, if you research enough you can find one of those companies that is putting out an insane product without paying for the name. This is one of those products. I needed a solution for my new system in my car. I stumbled on an experiment from an independent rival company that tested the top brands. This 50 mill version was a slam dunk. Performed better than 90% of brands and even a ton with thicker products. I installed this in my whip and it definitely steps up to the plate. It does a fantastic job sticking to things and easy to put on in tight places. My car sounds like Bose QC35 headphones on a solo camping trip. It's a much different experience from my noisy old car. Did I mention that I have a moonroof and roof rails. Still quiet though. I can honestly say that, for the rest of my days driving future cars, one of the 1st things I will do is pull out all the interior and put in Canopus sound deadening. Save yourself the time. Ordered the 50mil silver to line my door panels. I have used Dynomat in the past for years ago for comparison. However I wanted to try a budget friendly material this time to see if there any noticeable difference. Well in my opinion this is by far a superior product that uses very durable silver/aluminum backing that holds form and does not rip easy. I ended up ordering several more boxes and was extremely impressed! I did find it difficult to find larger quantities and needed additional sheets to complete my truck (headliner) as they were not in-stock amazon said for a week. So I ended up ordering same thickness 50 mill sheets from a different company (Made in the USA). I regret this now and wish I would have waited. The Made in the USA but from a different brand,but they used ultra thin silver/aluminum backing. I could not bend around or manipulate the sheets to conform to the Truck without ripping and making a mess. The other brand was no different in thickness than the rolls you that are sold at hardware stores for windows and door frames. I will stick with this brand and recommended you give them a try.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT! Every once in a while a product is so good, I actually want to give them props. This is one of them.. Really deadens panels, stops vibrations and ringing. Quality is fantastic. Great adhesion, or initially pulls off it you make a mistake. I will buy more.

Great stuff for the money. Takes the rattle out of an old truck's door panels. Easy to work with and sticks well.
