Akasa AK-955 CPU cooler Intel LGA 775

This is a bog standard, good replacement for intel 775 fans with a decent price to boot. The fan itself had no noticeable heat reduction compared to my original intel fan but does keep my system cool (For comparison: 600w, Dual core 2.13, 2mb ddr2, 1 x nvidia 7800, 2 x 7200rpm HDD). This isn't an especially quiet fan, however with a roomy case it does not make much of a difference to the intel models unless you are a noise aficionado. Final thoughts, a good buy.

I bought this product believing it would resolve the noise issue in my PC, in fact I was wrong. It's relatively noisy and seems to emit a constant humming sound at more than 30 dB. I had no choice but to return this item. I eventually ended up going for the Cooler Master brand which has now completely resolved the problem.

I am very pleased with this product, my previous fan was cracked, I guess due to being cheaply made, so I needed a new one. This fan is sturdy and almost silent when operating and works a treat. I have also noticed the average temperature in my pc has went down with this fan, so it obviously does its job well. The price also was decent, so all in all if I need to replace the fan again some time in the future I wont hesitate to get the same one again.
