I need to know where the wiring enters the back of the light fitting, is it in the center of the fitting or to either the left or right?

Yeah, it can't be too loose otherwise it will just fall off! The plastic is slightly pliable so try gently lifting it upwards before moving it towards you.

Warm tone shaver light with push-plate.

A nice warm shaver light with push plate. It is difficult to find a good over mirror light with a local switch unless it has a pull-cord. This one has a push-plate. It is designed for bathroom use but should be placed outside the bath and shower zones (IP21 rated for zone 3). The bulb is an energy efficient 11W G23 short fluorescent bulb 2700K (warm white).
