Simple Solution Extreme Pet Stain and Odour Remover Triple Strength 500ml

I don’t often leave reviews but I felt it was necessary to share this. After recently moving to a new home, my little fluffy butt (rabbit) decided to mark his territory and add his own little scent to my new sofa. If you own a rabbit you will understand just how strong this scent can be. It’s more than just a urine smell, it’s like super concentrated!! It’s one of the main reasons for neutering. I spent a long time looking for any signs of urine. I even went to the extreme of buying a UV pen and playing detective in the dark. Even this didn’t highlight any stains. All I knew, was that when I walked near or sat on the sofa there was a strong musky smell. So, I bought this product and sprayed the whole front, back and sides of my sofa, using about 1/2 the bottle. Within an hour the scent became even stronger, to the point I was contemplating throwing the sofa out and buying a new one. However, I woke up this morning and the smell has completely gone. It has neutralised the musky odour as if it had never been there. It’s a little miracle in a bottle and is definitely worth every penny after saving me £1000 for a new sofa. I would 100% recommend this product because if it can neutralise a musky rabbit scent it can get rid of anything. The odour had been present for around 4 weeks so it had had more than enough time to soak into the fibres, but a generous spray of this has completely removed it. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this product again and would recommend it to anyone that owns a pet of any kind. It’s not just for cats.

I have a soiled carpet with cat urine which had dried in and it stank. I sprayed this on heavily and oh my god did the smell get worse. But after 24 hrs there was a marked difference. I let it all dry out for 3 days then hoovered. I did another heavy spray and yep there was another ammonia smell but this time once it had all dried and I hoovered it didn't smell at all. I washed the carpet with our carpet cleaner and it's all fresh once again. The trick is not to use any cleaning liquids before hand as they kill the enzymes that simple solution contains. The fact the smell gets worse after applying is the enzymes breaking down the uric acid crystals which releases a gas that smells. Trust the process a few applications may be needed and this takes time but I'm honestly flabbergasted by this product as I really wasn't expecting much from it. Having read up on this, enzymes are the only thing that will stop the smell and break down uric crystals. Just thought I would update this it's been a week there was still a slight smell but only it you put your nose close to the carpet. so I bought another bottle. I sprayed liberally again and the smell of urine has now gone completely.

The cleaning product smells lovely and does the job really well. The spray bottle, however, was leaking so I was loosing some of the contents and couldn't really angle it well, so I poured it in a different bottle. Problem solved, but shouldn't have to be doing that - also lost the foaming option that way as I don't have a bottle like that. I will order again.

I was skeptical about any product that claims it can deodorize puppy urine smells but over the hot summer (and i mean vey hot summer!) the smell from our puppys accidents was bothering me as it was also on real wooden flooring. My worry was it was seeping through the cracks etc and if we got a breeze through the house, the smell bothered me a lot. i tried this product out, i was a little heavy handed with the amount i used but not only did it give a nice clean and it gave a subtle baby powder smell. I may have used way too much for the first wash but it urine smell was gone. It is expensive but it does what it states and so i am happy to purchase this again rather than looking for a cheaper alternative that would be a waste of money. I may use it as a spray for those little accidents. but i would give this a 10/10.

Not really sure about the stain removal properties, however it does smell nice, like vanilla. It's a shame there wasn't a warning somewhere on the bottle about getting it on your skin as it does leave a bit of a chemical burn that takes a few days to heal if it gets on you (and with the way the nozzle is, it does leak). Didn't really appreciate the way it sprays because though it's concentrated, it dribbles after. Hasn't damaged anything and I've patch tested it on both my carpet and laminate. Edit: I've since discovered that the nozzle has two different spray patterns depending on which way you turn (there's little symbols depicting which one, see images). Prior, I had been using the one with the two lines which does dribble, but the other one seems to spray like a standard household cleaning spray (of course, I would still be cautious while using because as the solution is more dispersed that way it can get onto your feet etc. and does burn mildly.)

This is incredible. It works. Easy to use and leaves no odour. If you have pets it’s a must. Fragrant and worth every penny. Drys quickly works so well on carpet.

My cat decided he didn't like wood pellets as cat litter whilst I was away on holiday when my brother was looking after him then proceeded to use the carpet instead so I bought these based on other reviews and appears to have worked plus for the price and it smells nice

If you don't do this, expect the nozzle to leak and be permanently attached so you can't even fix it. Every single one of these I bought leaked until I cut off the locking part of the nozzle and scraped off the left over foil and paper seal that never comes off easily. Scraping backwards with a utility knife worked well. For such a good product, the bottle and specifically the nozzle locking design is the absolute worst. I've never had to spend 20 minutes with a utility knife just to use a spray bottle before. Be very careful if you do this. Remove the tube from the sprayer first so you don't cut it and be safe. Keep the nozzle for your next bottle so you don't have to repeat this mess. Note: I tried shaving the locking ridges on different bottle but they are semi-hollow, meaning it caused tiny holes. Also, without cutting the lock ring off of the nozzle itself, it still seems too big, preventing a good seal. It seems designed to fail. Minus one star for the absolute worst nozzle lock I've ever seen in my life on a good spray.

Excellent product. One of my females cats would use our cotton bed after we got another kitten and 'her tray' was used by the little kittie. Being a brand new bed, I was contemplating throwing it out when I read about specific cat urine cleansers and ordered this. It's been just 4 days and the stain and awful smell are all gone. Fabulous product. I also have a visiting male stray, who likes to mark his territory on walls, which I would clean with dettol and Lizol. I can see this being a long-term purchase.

This stuff actually works. Often you buy stuff online, and it's a bit of a gamble if it will live up to its spiel. This one does.

It does clean the stains in the carpet. However it has not stopped my puppy for peeing near it. I even mop with the thing to make the floor less attractive for her. It does not work. But it does clean the stains after 2 sprays as instructed. Note that it mentions spray or foam. It only sprays. Foam does not come out of this

It serves its purpose: removes the (dog-) urine odour perfectly. Only one cap (of the original bottle) is enough to wash two washable training pee pads. I am also adding it to regular detergent to laundry my puppy’s bedding in case of peeing on it. The product itself has a very pleasant and unobtrusive scent.
