Not sure where all the negative reviews are from or who's writing them but this level is the absolute dog's bo**ocks. It is absolutely accurate although I've only tested it up to a few metres and it's so simple a child could use it. It's tiny so fits in a tool belt and takes up no space, it's solid and it costs next to nothing compared to others with similar specs. This thing is well worth the few quid it cost and will be getting a pounding over the next few months. Fantastic bit of kit.

The Kiprim LD50E Laser Measure has made life so much easier when measuring for coving and skirting boards. It’s allowed me to do jobs on my own that would normally need a second person if using a traditional tape measure. It’s very easy to use and the measurements are accurate, which makes it a real time-saver. For the price, it really exceeded my expectations—at just £15.99 I honestly didn’t expect it to be this good, but I was so wrong. Overall, a brilliant little laser measure that punches well above its price. If you’re doing DIY or fitting work and want to make life easier, this is an absolute bargain. Highly recommended.

For a basic instrument this is not the simplest to use. The instruction manual is tiny and woefully inadequate, for example basic instructions regarding how to change the units are missing (Mts to inches etc.) Once you have worked out how to use the measure it is straightforward. The unit is fairly small and light weight. I am sure it will be ideal for the DIY enthusiast who uses the measure fairly infrequently. For regular use I would recommend paying a little more and purchasing something simpler and more robust.

I had one of these before, and had trouble with it because it was simply difficult to deal with harder to use than it was worth. This one is small compact but not too small as to being hard to find or easy to lose. They’re only a few buttons so it’s economical as far as the set up is concerned it doesn’t have too many options which is what you really want. at least I want to tape measure that’s just a tape measure. I don’t want a bunch of bells and whistles. I simply want to measure things and this does that, it’s not hard to configure or understand and it turns on, and turns off is very easy to make calculations on everything is simple. The only extra thing it does is it will calculate one measurement and subtract one from the other which is handy. I wouldn’t want more than that. It also has the ability to measure from the tip or from the base of the tool meaning that you can make a measurement from the top or the bottom, depending upon how you wanna work and this is also handy all around I love it it’s a great toy and a useful tool the same time, I’m not sure how long the batteries will last but so far I’ve been using it for about a month and a half I think without any trouble

Necesitaba con urgencia, de un día para otro, un medidor láser y observé que este modelo era el más vendido en Amazon y con una valoración muy buena. Si tiene tantas opiniones positivas, seguro que es bueno. Lo compré, me llegó enseguida, y creo que acerté en la elección. Pensé en la posibilidad de que por ese precio (además me aproveché de una oferta flash) no fuera muy fiable, pero es exacto. Las medidas son super precisas y una virtud que tiene es que para medir lo "básico", longitud, superficie y algún volumen es muy sencillo. Seleccionas el tipo de medida que quieres hacer, por defecto te sale para medir la longitud, algo que será con casi toda seguridad lo que más uses. Previamente le tienes que decir desde que parte del medidor vas a empezar a medir, algo que pasa con todos estos modelos y que hay gente que se olvida de este pequeño detalle. No es lo mismo medir desde la "cabecera" del aparato que desde "atrás", de cualquier manera un símbolo que te aparece en la parte superior izquierda de su pantalla te indica desde donde lo estás haciendo. Señalas, confirmas si ves que está correcto y te da el resultado, que podrás guardarlo si lo quieres en la memoria (tiene una capacidad de 99 mediciones). Por defecto te viene las medidas en metros, pero podrías cambiarlo a otras medidas como pulgadas o pies, esto lo averigüe probando los botones ya que en las diminutas instrucciones que te viene, no lo indica. Lo que no me ha gustado son las instrucciones, no las veo del todo claras y el tema de los botones. A mi personalmente no me gusta que un botón tenga doble o triple función, según lo prolongues en la pulsación o lo combines con otro, algo típico hoy en día en cualquier electrodoméstico o similar. Eso sí, la pocos botones que lleva, transmiten solidez. Espero que duren. Creo que este modelo, a diferencia de otros, no tiene una calibración automática pues te viene en las instrucciones una forma de calibrarlo manualmente. Eso puede ser un inconveniente. Los dos niveles que incorpora, y que realmente son útiles, son casi simbólicos pues son muy pequeños, cuesta verlos. Aunque esto es común a casi todos los medidores que he visto. Mi modelo "solo" es capaz de medir 50 metros, pero creo que para el uso que se le suele dar es más que suficiente, salvo que vivas en un palacio o te pongas a medir en exteriores. Ignoro si con mucha luminosidad es igual de eficaz, yo solo lo he usado en interiores. En definitiva lo recomiendo, eso sí, para uso esporádico doméstico. Si lo piensas usar en plan profesional quizás se te quede corto.
