Overpriced but good
I decided to try to save money and bought a 3rd party adaptor. What a mistake, poor fit, I was convinced the cheap adaptor will scratch up my camera and M lens.So why pay more for Leica1) this adaptor come when electronic connection. CL will recognize the M lens automatically and load the lens profile. The 3rd party adaptor? Nope.2) when the proper fit and profile, I saw a clear improvement in image quality.3) turn the right dial and you get focus magnification, which did not work with 3rd party adaptor. The difference is huge with focus accuracy. It’s maddening to try to focus the M lens wide open without magnification.Button line? Over priced, yes. Is there a acceptable alternative? No. Is M lens on CL good? It’s amazing!

This adapter opened up a lot of lens options for my TL2.

It’s a Leica
Although expensive, if you bought a Leica camera, you can afford it and as far as I know, it is the only adaptor that tells the camera what what you put on it so that it can do it’s’ special thing. Plus it fits.

Opened my CL to the world of M Lenses. Works perfectly.
Works perfectly. Allowed me to use Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f/1.4 Wide on a Leica CL. I will also be using it for M lenses for my CL.

If you own Leica M lenses and want to use them with the Leica SL cameras, you need this adapter - period!
