This little saw is amazing for its size. With the 8 inch bar it will cut through a large branch with ease. The battery life is very good and having the second battery in the kit is very helpful. The batteries are however very slow to charge and can take nearly an hour or just a little longer. The only negative is the the bar oiler. Mine has never worked correctly I gave up and use an oil can. To get it unstopped you must remove the bar and use the tool it came with. Getting the bar back on is trickly and just not worth the effort when an oil can works better. If you unclog it before storing it you may come back to a mess the next time you go to use it. But with that said this is a really good cutting saw that is easy to use and as safe as a chainsaw can be. The extra chain that came with it are very sharpe and replacement's are very affordable.

I have a couple of trees in my yard that grow out of shape quickly, and hiring someone to trim them was getting expensive. This tool has been the perfect solution. It’s light, easy to handle, and the extendable pole lets me reach higher branches without using a ladder. The motor is strong enough to cut through thicker branches with no problem, and having two rechargeable batteries means I can finish the job without stopping. It's light weight, and functional. I like that it extends to 9 feet so I can do most of the trimming from below. It came ready to use, and the safety features and protective gear included were a nice touch. I also like that the chain stays smooth thanks to the built-in oiling system. Overall, it’s saved me time and money while keeping the trees looking neat. Definitely worth it.

This little saw is the bomb! I ordered yesterday with same day delivery because I was in a pinch. We took down four Aspen trees and our neighbor who was supposed to take the wood let me down. I would have cost me a fortune to have it hauled away, so I spent several days cutting the smaller pieces off with a pruner. In the end I had a pile that needed a chain saw. We have two gas powered ones but I have no faith me doing that safely and my husband is out of town. So I ordered this one, hoping it would be enough to cut through the stack of branches. The batteries charged up fast. It doesn’t come with oil, so that requires a trip to Home Depot or Lowe’s. The good stuff: It is simple to operate and light enough you can hold it in one hand. It did cut through the bigger branches with no problem. About 4-5 in of fresh wood. For bigger pieces you still have to make a sawing motion. It took about me about 1.5 hours to cut through the pile of wood. Comes in a little case so you can store it all together. Now to the things that could be designed better : The cover on the blade comes off very easily. The safety glasses included don’t seem to be well designed. I used the ones I got from work. I guess glasses for the gun range would work too. The safety switch is same color as the rest. No oil included Little pieces of wood tend to get stuck in the back. I stopped every once in awhile and dug in there with a small screwdriver to losen it up and then shook out. Overall this is a great little saw for small stuff around the house.

Great product

I was really scared to even consider buying a chainsaw as I’ve never used one before, and even the word “chainsaw” reminds me of that massacre movie, but I became desperate after receiving an estimate from a landscaping guy of over $400 to trim my hedges. That’s just an insane amount of money to me, so I went looking for tools to do it myself. I also was in the market for a hedge trimmer, but knew I needed to cut thick branches and a hedge trimmer wouldn’t be sufficient alone. That’s when I found this baby. I spent hours reading reviews and comparing specs, and this chainsaw in particular was the best in its class. I purchased it in October 2024, and have used it several times since with zero issues. As you can see from my before and after photos, it got the job done. (A little too done on that one bush on the end hehe). I kept it well oiled, and cleaned after each use. It charges well and holds a charge on each battery for a couple of hours. The safety bar is is a nice feature for stability. It easily cut 2” branches. I’m a middle-aged woman and had no issues holding and using it. Make sure you wear leather gloves for safety too. Comes in a nice hard shell case for storage. I haven’t replaced the chain yet. I definitely recommend this chainsaw. It would also make a nice gift.

Really extremely happy with this saw, what sold me on buying this saw was the fact it had an oil tank to keep the saw blade lubed. After getting the saw and seeing the other features it has I was even more delighted that I bought this saw! Many other battery operated tools you have a safety set up where you have to push the safety button to use the power trigger. This one has a safety set up too, but it’s more like a safety on a gun or rifle where you push the safety off and the trigger will work without having to hold the safety switch. Push the safety trigger on and the trigger won’t move to power it on. This means a lot to me being left handed and not having to continually holding the safety switch while using it is awkward for left handed people. This safety set up makes it easily to handle and run even being left handed! The bonus of buying this saw, is I had bought an extension pole saw that looked similar to this saw. I was right that this saw not only uses the same batteries as the pole saw does. It actually works on the same extension pole I first bought too! But this saw is a much better design then the one I got with the extension pole. Although I will still use both saws and now have 4 batteries to use between the two mini chainsaws plus brush clippers that also came with my extension pole saw. You can’t go wrong buying this mini saw. Buying the extension pole saw with this is just icing on the cake so to speak!
