Noisy Wind-up Fire Engine Board book – 26 Sept. 2008

Love this book with wind up toy. I brought for a Christmas gift for my friends 2 year old, my son had the same book at that age & spent hours delighting in the engine going round the 3 tracks.Only disappointment was the damage on the back, doesn't effect play but a shame as wasn't a cheap book/toym

This book is so lovely and my son loves pushing the button to hear the fire engine sirens sound and to play with the little fire engine car and tracks in each pages.This makes a truly lovely present for any little boys.

We bought this some months ago for our Fire Engine made three year old. He regulalry returns to it and thoroughly enjoys watching the engine drive through the pages whith him pressing the siren button while I read the various stories. I rated this a desrved 5 and would recommend it to everyone. However, be warned as we have since purchased similar books in this range only to find that the ones without the sound effects are not quited so engaging (tip - look at the pictures of the covers and stick to the ones where you can see the round audible button).

I bought both this and the train book as gifts. They have both been received with great enthusiasm and joy. A great way to introduce books as the interactive toy and track keep the child amused and interested in the stories.

We first received this book as a gift, I've since bought it as a gift because it's been such a hit. My son was 1 and a half when he started playing with the book, he's now 3 and now enjoys the story more than the wind up engine which rides around on a map engraved into a double page. There are only about 8 pages in the book (so 4 pages to turn) and 3 maps and 3 stories, and they are very thick, so the book is very durable. The button is a bit annoying but any buttons annoying when it gets pressed millions of times.

I hadn't realised how bulky and heavy this book was going to be. I had bought it for my 1 year old nephew who lives in America. He would have loved it but there was no way they were going to pack it for the plane journey! If you don't need to take it anywhere this is a great present for pre-schoolers.

I came across these wind-up track books when searching for Christmas books for my toddler. The Santa sleigh was so good I tracked down every other one that Usborne do; they do not disappoint! Sometimes they pop off the track if it’s not flat enough, but that’s usually met with squeals of delight!And this book comes with the additional joy of fire engine sounds. My toddler needs nothing more in life!!

I bought this for my son on his 2nd birthday last week and he loves it. I think its one the best books I have bought him, yet. As well as reading a fun story, the fire engine goes around various tracks throughout the book, and the siren button keeps him entertained.Amazon is also the cheapest place I have seen them.I have bought the 2 car racing book for christmas for my son, I hope that is as entertaining as this one.
