I had a local locksmith cut the blank and then I used the GAP IID tool to program all the keys. Worked great and saved me hundreds of dollars. This key is confirmed to work on a 2008 Range Rover Sport L320. Looks authentic as well.

Got this as a second key for my 2008 LR3. It works well. Seems like good quality and sturdy very similar to the factory key. Did not have the land rover logo on it but no big deal. Had a local locksmith cut and program it for $200. Been using it for a couple of months no issues.

I purchased this for my 2009 Range Rover. It does not fit and is unable to be programmed to it.

Easy to use, does not need programming, pretty good quality and it is great value for money.

Works perfect in my LR3. you have to use GAP IID tool to program it but if you have the tool, this costs hundreds less than going to the dealership. In fact, dont go to the dealer, but a GAP tool and this key and do it yourself. It may cost a little more but then you have the GAP tool also

The overall quality is okay. The key programmed fine with the GAP IIDtool .The button that releases the key is not smooth, but it works. The one that I received did not have the land rover logo on it. The water tight seal on the OEM FOB is really good. This one I don't see where a gasket runs all the way around it. You can not remove the key from the old FOB and put it on this one. First I tried removing the retaining pin holding the key to the metal hinge. The key blank is a different size. I then tried removing the whole hinge. It looked like it was going to work but there differences between the OEM and this one just a few mm off in all the right places for it not to work. I ended up removing the circuit board and putting it in the busted up OEM key case.

i ordered two of these... received two different units. one said LANDROVER and the other didn't. one was screwed together, the other wasn't. they both had markings for EU version, but were written over with sharpie. but hey, for roughly $20 each... my locksmith made quick work of cutting them, and my nanocom made quick work of programming them. they work perfectly and my all-in cost was roughly $60/key compared to the dealership's astronomical rate.

It took the locksmith a bit of playing around with his software but he eventually got it programmed and it works perfectly. So far it seems solid and I am impressed with the quality.

The remote stopped working in a few months!
