Unboxing/Setup: This was pretty straight-forward. It all comes pretty much ready to go. As other reviews had mentioned, there appeared to be an oily substance on the tank after you unwrap it, but if you read the directions included, it states that is perfectly normal, and just to take a cloth or a tissue to wipe it up. The charger comes with it, so start with charging it first, you can fill the tank while it charges. One thing to be aware, the directions (and the carrying case it comes with) all state to keep the device upright at all times (even while in-use) which quite honestly causes some limitations, but as long as you do it right, it typically isn't a make-or-break deal. The longest part of the setup is to allow the device to charge (and once you fill the tank you're supposed to wait a certain amount of time) Use: It comes with a few different attachment options for varying effects. They all have their pluses/minuses to them. I have yet to attempt to use the device outdoors. I suspect it should work as long as it isn't a windy day. For being a handheld device, I was able to cause my entire 900 sq foot basement to be like a bar in the 80s in about 10 minutes of on/off use for the above picture. Added bonus, it did not set off any fire alarms thankfully. The device heats up and is ready to operate in a matter of seconds after powering on, which is a huge perk in comparison to some of the larger fog machines. Construction: The device is handheld and in the photos it does look like it may be constructed of cheap plastic, but to the contrary, it holds up quite nice, and feels sturdy. Just be aware of where you touch when the device is running as the coils do heat up. Under normal operation though, your hand shouldn't be there anyway. Overall: This should be relatively adequate if you're limited on power, or time, or need something for products or just to add a little bit of an effect to a photograph or a scene of some sort. The only drawback is the fact the device needs to remain upright, which can make storage interesting, but the case it comes in can stand upright and keep the device in the proper orientation, as long as you have something to kind of lean it on.

Honestly, I was originally looking for one of those regular square fog machines, that are common to see around, when I bumped into this unique and interesting model, and decided to go for it instead. The regular fog machines are often bulky, heavy, and hard to store due to their size. This one however fit in the hand, is lightweight and even comes with it’s own storage/transportation hard shell style case. Of course, my first thought was that such a small machine like this, probably cannot provide as much fog as a regular machine. I was wrong. As soon as I pressed the GO button, it started to make a LOT of fog. So much actually that I was worried it will trigger my smoke detector, so I stopped it quickly. Oh, and also included in the case, are some very useful accessories, which will allow for different way to diffuse the smoke, so that could be handy if I need to use the fog into some pictures or videos scenarios that require different smoke background. The device comes with a box of six 12ml refill bottles. Each one is good to refill the whole tank, and one tank gives you quite a long time of fog as well. However, now I still will have to see if it will take regular fog machine liquid, or only something special designed for this device. 🤔

Worked incredibly!!! only... one time. I can no longer get it to work, it turns on for all of a half second before turning off. I purchased this for photography, D&D, and Halloween, and it made its debut on Halloween. After testing it earlier in the day, I was thrilled, and it was a great portable fogger for some of the costume components I did. However, a few days late,r after charging it back up for the next dnd game, I turned it on and... dead. I can't get it to stay on. I've now taken some time to read forums, investigate, try to clean and take it apart, but it still won't stay on. I want this to be 5 stars. It would be... but it broke after one night of use for an hour or so... I would swap this to 5 stars immediately I could get a new one. But I was outside the return window... now I sit here, about to play my next D&D game, thinking "dang it would be nice to have this work" but it doesn't, so I have to write this review. Maybe it'll be seen and I can be sent a new one, but... It's a shame for how much this cost that I missed my opportunity to return the faulty product.

This little smoke machine works well but I think it is a little pricy, I like the amount of smke it puts out. The case it comes in is usless, it needs changed to square, it is not the right shape to keep the unit upright and on its side the smoke fuel leaks out . I found no use for the remote, its too small to think you are going to set it up some whare and use the remote to get what you need, you have to move it around while generating smoke to fill a area to use. Overall I think a 4 star is a bettter than fair ratting

This little thing really blows a lot of smoke. The attachments are great and give a lot of different looks. And produces a lot of smoke. Especially for its size. The nozzle that makes the clingy dry ice like foam really works great. This would be great for still life shooters. The only down side is it will set off your smoke detector.

So far, I'm decently impressed by the Lensgo smoke machine. It seems to be able to easily fill a room with a thin layer of smoke in just a matter of minutes. What bothers me about this tool is that it doesn't take into consideration the need for consistent use. My first instinct to charge it up was to plug it into my PD fast charger. No go. It ONLY supports 5V charging at 1-2A (I'll plug my charge tester in soon to test exact amount. This sucks because it would have been so easy just to add a PD circuit into the device to get it charged up fast from a PD brick when on the go. This retracts one star for me. The other thing that bothers me is that the company makes no mention of where we can find extra juice for the device, but states if we use other juice, it could mess up the canister. There are TONS of options on Amazon, but who knows which one we should get because the company doesn't share which juices will work. I'll be honest, I bought this because of the SmokeNinja that just went on sale on Kickstarter and I needed something similar, but delivered quicker for an upcoming spooky Halloween shoot. Overall, the device seems to be high quality and works as expected. I'm excited to use it, but not excited to keep it charged.

I wanted small project fogger. The one I’ve seen recommended by several photographers/videographers recommended a unit 2 1/2 times the cost of this product. I happened across a YouTube video using this product- and was amazed to catch it at an affordable price! Not only does it work was advertised it exceeded my expectations. And for the size of the product - handheld- it literally can fill a “standard” bedroom sized space in relatively short order. AND the included attachments do EXACTLY what they are supposed to for different looks from filling a room to producing a “layer” of fog similar to that of dry ice. I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase!!!

The fog machine comes beautifully packed in its own zip up case with clear instructions on what to do. There are several accessories to help get the smoke where you want it and several bottles of the fluid used to make the smoke. It comes partially charged but I fully charged the fog machine and the mist-er before trying it out. it gives out enough smoke to fill a room quite quickly. The smoke has no smell and cleared away without any obvious deposits. The chemicals used to make the mist/smoke are non-toxic according to the Molecular Safety Data Sheets; I checked!! Control is via a switch on the side of the Fog Machine or by a remote control switch which is useful when using the machine in low light conditions or when waiting to catch that special curl of smoke !! The only challenge I have struck is getting a tiny flow to get a fine curly spiral of smoke.

this new photography tool is fantastic... this thing works great and really pumps out a lot of smoke,, like any other smoke device it won't be good in very windy conditions.. used it for a shoot on the weekend and it was great... can't wait to use this more and more

This handheld fog machine is perfect. It produces a surprising amount of fog in different modes. I don't know how they do it but the 'sponge attachment' gives the dry ice effect in that the "smoke" stays close to the surface and goes downwards: while the nozzle attachment spreads rising fog into the air: it also gives a lovely, lingering effect of tendrils of "smoke", perfect for the horror effect - while the fan attachment spreads a large cloud of fog into the air. Its hand held, compact, sturdy and well made and comes with a box of 6 replacement fog fluid bottles. In a lot of ways this great little device has exceeded expectations and I'm thinking of buying a second one.

J'étais sceptique sur le fonctionnement d'une petite machine à fumée mais la smoke B m'a vraiment étonné marche idéalement pour la photo de studio ou en extérieur je recommande à 200 %
