Does this work for cars and where would you recommend i place it? -Ive previously had my catalytic convertor stole

It certainly works in a car. I am not able to advise whether or not the removal of a catalytic converter would set it off. I keep my alarm in the door pocket of a 1953 sports car. Opening the door is enough to set it off.

How long does the alarm sound?
