I was really impressed with these when they arrived. They are made out of a thick construction paper feeling material and very firm. This means they do not easily tear, bend, or fold. The "splatterburst" design absolutely enhances visibility of shots, and even rounds as small as 22lr are clearly visible out to 15+ yards. That means they are ideal for indoor ranges and any caliber you want to shoot at them. I also used them at an outdoor range without any problems. I was actually surprised that the fluorescent did not reflect/amplify sunlight glare. One of the more valuable features, for me, was the multiple target areas on the single target. Making it easy to conduct slow fire accuracy, rapid fire, reload, double tap, ect drills on the same target. This results in more time shooting and less time posting & retrieving targets to shoot at. The only con I could really come up with is, if left unprotected they can get scratched and the "splatterburst" effect comes through wherever the scratch(s) occurred. I definitely suggest opening 1 end of the plastic wrapping they arrive in and keeping them inside the "sleeve" for storage and transporting to the range. I was able to fit them in the main gun compartment of my Savior double long rifle bag and still zip it closed. Generally ranges charge $1-$2 each for targets like this, so by purchasing them beforehand you are able to save yourself around 50% or more. I love them and definitely will be buying them again & suggest them for anyone needing heavy paper targets to shoot at.

Great targets at a good price. Very easy to see where you hit at a distance and made of a nice, thick material so they don’t blow around. They are a bit narrow for some ranges, but should work at any range with adjustable clips.

Now I must admit I am a bit of a novice shooter. I just recently required my HQL in Maryland but I do have previous experience firing my friends and family friends firearms. I have experience with shotguns, rifles (bolt action and semi-auto) as well as an array of handguns including Glock 17, Sig Sauer 1911-22, Beretta 92fs and more. That being said, I was introduced to this particular brand and style of target by my HQL training class instructor. In Maryland, they changed the laws in 2013 so that now in order to buy a handgun you have to get what is called your Handgun Qualification License (HQL). In order to get your HQL, you have to get fingerprinted and participate in a 4 hour instructional course that covers gun safety and proper handling. My instruction was a military veteran with over 30 years firearms experience including competition shooting and advanced tactics. He taught a great class and at the end of it (in order to pass) you have to put one round down range and hit a target. These were the targets he used. And he also said "go ahead and empty the magazine". I have to say, when i shot at this target it was like no other target I'd ever shot at. It's not just like putting holes in paper, the rounds have a "splatter" effect, like the name says. The rounds hit the target and are immediately noticeable even from long ranges of 25'-50'. The contrast between the neon and black is also very helpful and when I bought my first gun (Sig Sauer 1911-22) I used 5 of these bad boys to get a feel for the sights. The targets last you a while I've noticed, as you can use the 4 different target zones to practice your groupings and then you can start aiming for specific body quadrants. The only drawback is these were a bit too small for the range I went to (they wouldn't fit in the clip) and so I had to purchase one of the large range target (a whole $1) to then pin the splatter target up on to. A solution to that would be buying the larger 18x24 targets. Overall, great product and will be my target of choice for years to come!

I love these targets for their high visibility, they are harder to read beyond 30 yards for me, but I don't have the best vision. Great for indoor, good for outdoor ranges.

I have used these for years. The shot placements are extremely visible and helpful for my tired old eyes.

Excellent targets. Clear 9mm shot indications without using a target scope out to 25 meters. I absolutely will buy again.

Best I have used in splatter targets. Thick enough to hang alone without backing and the shots are very visible and don’t bleed into nearby shots. Highly recommend!
