What a thing!! Works continuously with staples! If using hot shoe I’d recommend sitting the tool in front of a fan between applications which is what I did to preserve the tool, it gets quite warm, the heating up of the device is mentioned in the instructions. Overall outstanding piece of kit for the very modest price!!

So far this has worked very well and does what it says on the tin. It is very easy to use and control. The only thing which did not work very well is cutter. It feels a lasting product. Nice kit. would recommend it.

What a great bit of kit and a good price ,bought this to repair a fridge draw that had cracked and done a great job of repairing it its all rigid again would recommend this to anyone

So far so good with this welder it is very easy to use and seems to set strong, well worth the price it takes just seconds to heat up. I have just welded a broken wheelie bin lid and it is good as new.

This is a great piece of kit, it has saved me £500 in new parts for my audi tts seats.. it repaired all the plastic lugs etc that had snapped of the seat panels. Highly recommend it

Takes a bit of practice - I started with some polypropylene toolboxes (you really gotta know WHAT kind of plastic your working on and get the right plastic rods) If you're just going to use the staples and smooth over the result (without weld rods) you CAN work with what's in the kit, but it helps if you have plastic weld rods for the right type of plastic, and some use metal mesh for maximum strength! (the rods supplied are polypropylene 'PP' - I think!) Theres a generous supply of melt in 'staples', use plentifully around cracked areas, as you develop a feel for getting the staple melted INTO the plastic but not going right THROUGH it (practice on some cheapo items before anything like car bodywork! If its area hands are going to be going in for maintenance you DO need to fill grind or smooth over the sharp edges of the staples, after cutting them So, can now do rough repairs on my boxes - I'll tackle something more fancy later and maybe leave an extra star - cool tool, requires a bit of skill to use ;)
