Quality recovery boards
I bought these here on Amazon at a better price than anywhere else around Black Friday. I'm always looking to buy "Made in the USA" products as my first choice in purchases, and these did not disappoint. These ActionTrax are thick, feel and look like a quaility made product weighing in at 16 lbs for the pair. They stack together very nicely with a lower profile than others, but I really wish that they left one of the entry edges straight. Another good thing about the ActionTrax are is there are divits under each cleat so if you manage to grind one down you know where center is to drill and install a replacment cleat. All that being said, I don't think any quiality made recovery board whether it be Maxtrax, TRED or ActionTrax should be over $150 (they're just massed produced injection molded proprietary material with a little bit of R&D...that's it!).Realistically MOST recovery boards are gonna get you out of the same typical types of situations, so don't overthink when buying them (better to have something than nothing). If your a 4wheeler consistently trying to get into bad situations then I would not recommend the "Made in China" ones for long term durability. All in all these are some very good quality recovery boards that are definitely made in the USA. Great to use or have in any vehicle not just for 4WD's, especially if you know you might encounter questionable situations...just another tool in your emergency arsenal.

These were the BEST recovery tracks!
We used these on our overland vehicle in 2020 for trips to Imogene Pass, Ophir, Schnebly Hill and lots of camping. We built up a GX470 and luckily never needed them to get us out of trouble, even on 'red' difficult trails in CO, NV, UT, AZ or NM, but we used them almost every night for leveling out the vehicle. They were sturdy, easy, to use, and easy to mount and unmount from the roof of our truck. I am only 110 pounds and I had no problem hauling our trax off two at a time (we bought four). Currently, we are building up a GX460 and will be buying these again.

Works great
Used these for the first time today. I intentionally got stuck in a pile of loose gravel, with the Left front and right rear spinning. First I tried one board on the left front but it just shot out so put the 2nd board under right rear and it came out easy, then pulled up to 6x6 landscape timber edging 6" of loose gravel, on a slight incline. Same results as above and I never even aired down the tires. I decided to order a second set incase I decided to do some bridging, as these are very flexible.

recovery boards are good to have
recovery boards are good to have , US made are even better , good price is also great. After 2 years of abuse with my 19PW these boards are still in good shape , I never leave home without them. Keep in mind I do my best not to burn out on them , and it takes a little practice to know when to use them the best . Key is to stop before you get too buried. I have used them in sand , mud , gumbo clay and snow . Get 4 if you can , just makes it easier . Excellent support from the company as well. Would definitely buy again.

No way to give a full review because......
Well this is a tough one for me. Got them exactly like they were advertised to be. Then 2 weeks ago we go snow wheeling . First time I had the chance to use them. Used them once. Worked great. Used them another time later in the day, and the 2 people with me that were using mine, ended up losing them In the snow down the hill. So I bought top of the line traction boards , used them once and then they got lost. No way to give a full review since I don't have them anymore ....

Awesome USA made product that is well worth the money
Looking for an alternative to that “other brand” from down under? I was pleased to find a USA company making their own. Upon arrival (very quick by the way ) I was pleased with the quality of the Usactiontrax. The design of these is unique with the tooth ends instead of being smooth across the end. It helps them to stay in place. Remember no spinning tires on these as you can melt the knobs off. If you do you can always repair them yourself with simple hardware. I can’t wait to try them out next time I get stuck on the trail on the next overlanding adventure
