It dries like rubber and will not be affected by water. I have used it on small tent repairs.

I used it for gluing some leather pieces together nd it worked well

can this adhesive be removed with water if accidentily it goes on clothes

I haven't actually spilt any copydex on my clothes but the fact that the glue is water-based and it very easily comes off your skin, I would think that it would easily come off clothes during a normal wash cycle.
