I love the part.

Be sure to check the fuel level sending unit before installing. Measure resistance between the blue and white wire. Should range from about 15-16 ohms (empty position) to about 162 ohms (full position).After spending several hours replacing, I turned the key on and discovered the fuel gauge read full, but the tank was nearly empty. An ohm meter confirmed the sending unit was bad and read "open" regardless of the float level. I ended up removing the sending unit from the original unit and I installed on the new assembly. I had to cut the blue wire and install a spade connector. After this the fuel gauge worked properly. The part should have never left the factory with a bad sending unit. We'll see how long the pump lasts, but so far I'm not impressed.

This fuel pump assembly went into the car, without any problems. It required no splicing of any wires. It is a true plug-and-play unit. Primed the pump a few times following installation, and then the car fired up on the first attempt.Not sure of quality/lifespan of pump assembly yet, as it has only been installed for a week.

Didn't even have to drop the tank. Had to splice in for the evap valve, but still keeps the old gal runnin'.

Installed pump, fresh gas & filter. Ran great for two days. Pump died. Disappointed

It works and fits my 04 crown vic perfect and even better cost almost $200 less than one from the auto parts stores.
