Excellent Quality, Super Beautiful, and Fun to Use!
This was SOOOO much fun to use! The gold leaves are very high-quality and made some cupcakes I baked look over-the-top! I would highly recommend using a bamboo-tweezer when using the gold leaf to decorate (as the bamboo is non-static and so the gold leaf does not stick to them). They really made a celebration "glisten"!

Beautiful results but difficult to apply for a novice
Gold leaf in general has a mind of its own. This gold leaf yields the most beautiful results of all the gold leaf I've used. I'd be lying if I said it was easy. I've worked with much easier gold leaf. This gold leaf is very difficult to apply as this particular brand is thin. It sticks super good to macaroon shells. It is difficult to get any real premeditated design. But luckily laying it haphazardly is gorgeous. I've found a paint brush and tooth pick works well. But beware any breeze will cause it to fold on itself. If it touches anything it will stick down tight, including your fingers. It is packaged really well to prevent accudental folding or wrinkles. Overall I would recommend this gold leaf, and will definitely be ordering it again.

24kt leaf
Product is exactly what it says it is. I use it for twenty four karat gold tomahawk steaks and it works very well

Gorgeous! Hard to work with!
This stuff is like gold plastic wrap. It immediately clings to itself, making it extremely hard to work with. Definitely wear gloves to help reduce sticking to skin. That said, after much trial and error, the results are amazing!

Beautiful finish, just research how to use before you do it
Perfect for covering a bronze sculpture like our Mexican flag pole finial (photo attached). Of course it’s delicate to handle and takes practice as most reviews say. If this is your first time handling gold leaf for food or art applications, I would do some research on YouTube or the like before doing it. Gold leaf is super thin and fragile and you need to use the right tools (like a soft brush) and hold your breath while handling (it’s thin like a cobweb thread). Our project was small and with a lot of detail to cover, so I had to cut the leafs in 4 not to waste them and the fact that they come sandwiched in a little notebook pad helped a lot. If you watch someone handling it first and follow good instructions you have better chances of succeeding. If you just jump at it without knowing what to do or expect, you may end up frustrated and wasting a lot of it. I’m not an expert but the quality seemed good to me and it got the job done just right; and looks exactly as the one I have seen professionals applying before. Very happy with the results. Enjoy!
