I selected this fixture to replace a small 500watt halogen flood light off the back of my house. A 100watt LED produces nearly the same light output.The light output is warm white and I'm guessing close to 3200K based on comparison to 2700K lights in my house. The fixture is heavy duty and so is the mounting bracket. Very good quality! When the light is on it's a nice bright glow and you can not distinguish each individual LED. The light distribution is at least 120deg in all directions. This is different from 500watt halogen flood lights that do not distribute as much light to the sides. It's mounted to the side of my house near the eve and tilted downward at 15deg angle but a lot of light is still going up into the trees. It would be better if top part of the reflector could redirect some of the light downwards. After looking at many of the LED flood lights online I do not see any that would prevent this. It's not clear how effect the reflectors are with LED lamps mounted to the back of the fixture. Honestly the halogen looked better but I will take the energy savings and hopefully longevity. I couldn't get more than 8 months from a halogen bulb due to humidity in my area.

This light is crazy bright! 300 watts of LED power is more than double the 400 Watt Sodium Lamp it replaced ever put out! That said, the original lamp supplied lasted several months of on at dusk and off at dawn use. After two messages to the seller regarding the dead lamp to describe the failure, they promptly sent out a new lamp free of charge. Great! Only problem is that it now too has died in 1/2 the time the first one lasted! Asking for a refund. First failure was a fluke??? Second failure... not so much. Trying another brand because this one has not got a + track record!

If you are not good with tools I would not recommend this for you. Besides that, this flood light is super bright and easy to install. Once you have a spot to mount it on, you just need to connect it to any light fixture that is outside and crimp the wires together according to polarity. Overall, I’m in love of how much brighter my back yard is now with this flood light.

I bought one of these lights for use at my church. It is exactly what we have been looking for. I I bought another 20 of these lights to go in our church gymnasium. They do a beautiful job of lighting at a very reasonable cost

It's not really warm it has a greenish-amber tint compared to a normal warm-white, but it's a minor defect in my use case, more green will improve color rendering over a standard orange 3000K lamp. It's not harsh at all.

Hey Viugreum engineers, I took the light apart and I'm pretty sure the problem was the thermal grease. It's not thick enough and it was clear that it only made contact with maybe 40% of the led plate's surface. The plate must have been bowed slightly (It's so large and thin that it will never lay completely flat), so the entire center was clear of any of the thermal grease. And sure enough, some of the leds in the center area had little dark spots on them. I assume they must have been the ones that failed. With such a large plate, you either need to screw or glue down the center, or apply a much thicker coat of thermal grease probably to both sides and be sure they press down on the entire surface to make contact.

Purchased April 2017, installed June 2017, guessing average about 3 hours per day use (probably less), stopped working September 2019. They claim over 30,000 hours of use, I got less than 3,000.Very good for my back yard that goes back about 200ft but I'm not looking forward to climbing back up the the peak of my roof to replace it.I would only recommend this to someone who has easy access to replacing them and low expectations about the life expectancy.

So far so great. Outdoor use for bow fishing. Best casing and bracket on the market hands down. Solid light output.
