100% wool with nicely finished leather bead around the head with internal cord to tighten the fit if needed. Very sturdy, flawless quality construction. Sadly I have a head which is too large to fit comfortable in this beret. I seems warm, material is appropriately thick. Very dark black in color. It does not appear to stretch. Because my head is too big, I had to return mine, but if you do not have an abnormally large head, this should be an excellent fit for you.

It’s not as big as advertised so if you have a ginormous fat oversized Melon sausage neck fivehead long oval buckaroo I’d say you’d need something bigger. This is good for average size noggins. It has a leather meat flap in the front to keep the itchy wool from preventing a rash in your forehead wrinkles. I recommend it.

I was looking for a military beret to wear with a 70's themed outfit and didn't want to break the bank. I found this little gem and I have to say that it was a good purchase. The overall costruction seems to be good and it fit as expected. Plus for the beret is that it does have two breathing holes included in the build which helped to allow my head to breath. That said I wore this for around half a day and for extended wearing your head is going to sweat so just understand that if you plan to be outdoors or very active. The beret also has to pull strings that allow you to pull the fit closer to your head in order to stay on and I would recommend that when you receive this product you give it a try. I also like that it has a built in square inside the beret that helps it to retain it's shape which was a nice touch. I was going for a 1970's Black Panther look for my outfit and considering that I received lots of compliments from older attendee's who were actual Black Panthers I feel I made a great buy. Full disclosure I am not a paid influencer or some cool online personality with a lot of social media followers. Just an average middle aged suburban dad living in the U.S. South. Good beret. Wish it had the little stem on top. The leather hem will keep the as size consistent.

A little oversized and with wear will only stretch larger.

Picked up this Gajaous military-style beret kind of expecting it to feel like a cheap costume piece, but it’s actually really good. The wool feels proper — not that itchy cardboard-thin stuff — and once you shape it a bit it sits exactly how a beret should. The little leather band around the edge gives it a cleaner, more “real” look too, not floppy or loose. Sizing was pretty straightforward. It came a bit stiff out of the package, but that’s normal for berets. Gave it a bit of handling and a light steam and it shaped itself nicely. Looks decent on both men and women (we all tried it on for a laugh), and honestly it has that classic British military vibe without looking like you’re trying too hard. If you want a proper-looking beret for fashion, cosplay, work, or whatever reason, this one is definitely nicer than most of the generic ones online. Not a toy-feeling hat at all — feels like it’ll last ages.
