**Finally, a cheese slicer that works!** I’ve purchased several cheese slicers, and every one has been a disappointment for one reason or another. This one is easily five out of five. It shaves cheese beautifully, and the slices don’t stick to the slicer. It’s very well made, dishwasher safe, and feels like it should last for many years. It is a little pricey, in my opinion, but the quality and performance make it well worth the money. I absolutely love it!

I've been looking for a cheese plane to replace/supplement the one I purchased over 40 years ago at a Hickory Farms shop for years now and every one has been a disappointment. This one is not. The shape is nearly identical and it actually stayed in the cut, creating a nice, thin, even slice. It has some nonstick metal treatment and diamond dimpling on the flat portion to assist in slicing and release that the old one doesn't have or need but that is irrelevant. It actually works about 95% as well as the old one. I used one of the imposters that creates a rippled surface on a block of cheese and tried to smooth it out with this plane. It made it better but couldn't remove the ripples within a few slices whereas the old one can make a smooth surface again in one or 2 swipes. Still, I'm quite happy with this find and the results. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could but am rounding up here because it deserves better than 4 stars. The weight and feel is very nice and it appears to be quite sturdy and looks really nice. I won't be around to see if it survives 40+ years, but perhaps one of my kids will.

Have a larger slicer with a wire, but it can’t make thin slices. Also more of an effort to clean. This Boska slicer is perfect! Trust the Boska name since I’ve purchased a couple of their girolles to shave Tete De Moine. This shaves a nice slice from a large block of cheese - perfect for a ham & cheese roll-up or to add to an omelette. Cleans easily with a sponge and warm water.

This cheese slicer is comfortable to hold and the connection between the handle and the head is surprisingly quite strong despite it looking thin - it flexes a tiny bit but springs right back. The blade is sharp and the slicer cuts smoothly, and I appreciate the 10 year warranty that comes with it, though I doubt I'll need it since it hasn't had any issues with rusting or tarnishing. The diamond pattern does seem adequately effective in preventing the cheese from sticking to the head. I do think paying nearly 30 dollars is a bit expensive for a cheese slicer, but this is probably one of the best ones you can buy.

Bought is to slice hard cheese and it works well, as expected. I looked for and found a good quality (cheese) slicer similar to the ones I used when living in Europe. Would buy again or may be a simpler model w/o the anti-stick design (that's what I used in Europe and it also worked just fine). Anyway, cuts safely and easy and easy to clean.

Love this cheese slicer! I can slice thinner or slightly thicker by adjusting the angle. Cheese tastes best when thinly sliced!

This is the greatest cheese slicer that I have ever purchased. I loved it so much that I bought a second one as well for my home. It’s super well made with all stainless steel and the blade stays extremely sharp even after multiple years of use. It is also very easy to clean through the dishwasher. Overall I love the look, weight, and feel, and length of this cheese slicer. I sometimes use this slicer to peel other things such as carrots or cucumbers as well so the functionality is super versatile.

As cheese slices go this is like the Rolls Royce. Got a decent weight to it and slices smoothly, easily and consistently. Oozes quality. Pay a little extra and you only pay once; this baby will probably outlast me.
