25 Site Aeroponic Cloning Machine Expect 100% Success Rates

In general, I believe in buying quality nutrients, lighting, etc when it come to my plants, but I've always really struggled with the cost of cloners. How are brands like EZ-Clone getting away with charging over 200 bucks for a bucket, a water pump, and some PVC??? Truth is, there are plenty of DIY solutions online where you can do it for a fraction of that price- and that's exactly where I was headed until I came across this product. Clone King made the price low enough to where I personally would not bother with it. A rough (and reasonable) calculation of building such a cloner is roughly what they are selling it for. Right out of the gate,a 300 GPH water pump on amazon is about $35-60 dollars- not to mention your time, driving around to stores picking up items, and the cost/time/aggravation of making mistakes. I don't care how cheap anyone tells you can build them for- unless you have stuff already lying around that you're not counting towards your final cost, if you can save anything building it yourself, you might save be like $15 bucks max and probably have something that didn't work as well as this unit does. Anyway, I got the 25 site and got roots bumps in 7-10 days, and got a pretty decent success rate- not 100% (closer to 80-90), but that could be user error, and in any case, I am satisfied with it's performance. Thanks to the other reviewers who talked me out of opting for 30 site or whatever is- apparently it's just this unit with more cloning sites and even though it's the same price, I agree after seeing it in person, the plants would be too close and competing too much for light. It was also nice that the unit shipped with some extra neoprene cookies, net pots, and spray heads and even a few solo cups for potting. I wasn't expecting any extras at this low price, but after my first run I did have some roots clog the spray heads and was glad I had a few spray nozzles on hand. It's work noting that it's completely compatible with E-Z clone, so you should be able to find spray heads/net pots/cookies for this unit at your local grow store. You can have this thing up in running in about 5 minutes without looking and at the instructions. The price was excellent and it work well, I would not look any further and tell every grower you know about this product.

I got this and a few weeks later the pump went out. I contacted seller and they immediately responded and sent a new pump. They did not have to it was past return date I give it 5 stars because things happen the seller can not control and it worked amazing until it went out, from what I could research it is uncommon. I highly recommend the seller and the product. Thank you so much, fast shipping, great communication with immediate resolution and great product AAA+ I recommend getting a spare pump just in case this seller has my business going forward though, hands down. The clone king had a 100% success rate for me. I checked daily and the pump went out but everything was ready so I got to planting. I checked the breaker, loads and amps changed my outlet but no issues found and checked connections. No issues found, the motor still works but just barely, the seller says it is uncommon to go out and the research I did had the same result so I have no problem buying these pumps for spares they work great. Anyway the seller resolved immediately and went above and beyond to do so, that's hard to find. If you don't own this thing you need one. This seller had the best price I could find and I do feel that it was worth the money.

First review here on Amazon. I was standing in my room the other evening saying to myself wow where would I be with out this machine. Then i realized i needed to give these guys the respect they deserve an give a review. I purchased the 25 site it came in the mail 2 days earlier than expected. easy to setup, easy to use. Are there some cheap components that I could've done at home, yes. Are there better cloners out there, yes. But these guys did just that fabricated a cloner that works with cheaper parts an not make a killing but sell it at a reasonable rate. I have had 100% success with about 150 clones so far. everyone talks about heating pads humidity dones an the perfect cut. No with this machine i fill it with tap water, i dont even check the PH use the same scalpel ive been using for months i only switch/clean the blade when it starts to rust, cut it at a 45 degree angle dip it into my baby olivia then put it into the collar. after 7 days i have roots...I have realized you can leave them in the cloner for about 15-20 days before you starts seeing deficiencies that they are just starving for nutrients...so I started to check my PH put it at 5.8 pop some Clonex in there. Set it an forget it. You will have long sexy roots in no time at all. My only only thing that i hate is the collars wont fit into the holes right you have to have the 2 inch net pots with the collar inside to make them sit correctly not a big deal but take it from me when you order this grab yourself some extra net pots. other than that well worth the money.

What I like about this product - shipping was prompt, packing was solid, assembly simple and straightforward. The cloner operates as described and I am seeing some of the cuttings I placed in it beginning to develop roots, although most have not. I did not use any rooting hormones - just well water. My cuttings were a variety of perennials and small trees including Japanese Maples, Pomegranates, Mulberry, and Azalea. I have not used any growlights or heat yet. My neighbor who is a Tissue culture expert suggested i use some rooting hormone to see faster results. I will next time, contrary to the the Clone King instructions.

I've had since 2023. I run a new set of clones every couple of months and I have had 100% success. I have never had one cutting die. Obviously I used different nutrients depending on the plant type. This really is dummy proof.

UPDATE - 01/08/2015. Took 7 days to get roots on all of them. The funny part is the one that was the worst responded the best to the cloner. So first try 100% just like they said. Also with the smaller pump it raises the water temp approx 1 - 1.5 degrees where as the one that came with it raises it 5 - 7 degrees. I would suggest a 200 or 220 GPH pump. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ First, I have never successfully cloned anything. Received this a couple of days before it was even scheduled to be here. Have been reading about the water temp problem from the pump. Monitored water temp for several days. Ran about 75 to 79 with ac set at 72 - 73. Had a 170 GPH pump so figured I would try it. As far as water temp it works perfect. It runs between 71 and 73 with ac set at 71 - 73. Problem is only about 1/2 of the sprayers do enough to get into the cups. I only have 3 - 4 plants so I picked 4 holes with a lot of spray. Put 3 fresh cutting in and had 1 cutting that was put in to rockwool 30 hours prior and was falling down that I moved to the cloner. 4 days so far and the 3 fresh look just like when they were cut. The one that was falling over in the rockwool had picked 2 levels of leaves up off the cloner platform after only 4.5 hrs. Now it is standing straight up and looks as good as the fresh cut ones. Nothing has yellowed on it yet either. If you cut the cups off as suggested then the following will not matter. One thing to watch for is the height of your pump. Too tall and the nozzles hit the bottom of the cups. That is the main reason only 1/2 of my nozzles spray in to the cups. A little too tall. If not enough spray you could try a 200 or 220 GHP pump. Not enough time for roots yet. I will come back and up date when they show roots. As it stands right now I would recommend this as a purchase. Company is excellent in shipping and communication. The product was exactly as represented in the listing.

Awesome little cloner and after using now for 2 years here's my caveats. The first is that what remains of the leaves on the cut clone will wither away if your humidity is too low, before the clone can grow roots to uptake more water. So the whole thing has to be in a 60% or better humid environment like a tent. Do not put any type of cover over just the top thinking that will keep the humidity up, you'll just be growing mold and have to toss the little black pucks every time because you can't sterilize the mold away. It'll come back worse every time. I know, I did it! Now that you know not to cover with any type of dome, the other thing is that you want a gentle flow of air over top of this thing to prevent mold also, not enough to move the plants but just to keep the air moving. Then the other issue you don't hear about is the pump inside the thing creates the tinyest amount of heat, that if not checked will have the water up in the 90's if unattended. My low tech solution is to have a couple of 20 ounce water bottles full and frozen in the freezer then rotate one into the reservoir every day. This seems to work perfectly for keeping the water toward the 60-70 degree range. The plastic basket pots are just to keep the pucks from falling through the white top. I've since cut all the baskets away leaving just the top tapered part to do the holding. And this gets more consistant spray to the cutting bottom. Did this after loosing some precious clones that I can only assume the pot somehow was positioned just right to block the spray from ever getting to the cutting. The other addition needed in the design would be four 4 inch long legs sticking off the bottom of the white top, so when you take it out with roots hanging to check ph, the roots would be protected from being pinched. Will build that some day... Till then this thing does exactly what I need it to.

Just got 100% roots of 19 Persimmon cuttings.... with some modifications. Instructions: !) Open box, remove all parts and STERILIZE the whole system, pump and all. I used bleach concentrated and brush scrubbed the whole thing and then let it run for 24 hours with the bleach water. 1/2 cup bleach and fill to the emitters with water for the system. 2) Rinse, rinse, rinse, rinse. I make sure that I get 100% of the bleach out and dry it until it could absorb moisture on it's own. Then I let it sit for 24 hours to let any chlorine off gas. 3) Prepare your water. People have various methods of doing this, I like to go with as little modification to the water as possible. I add acquarium Tetra Safe (*not TetraSafe+, regular TetraSafe.) It removes Chlorine, Ammonia and Chloramine. Chloramine is put in my water by the county, it replaces fast evaporating and lead leeching Chlorine and Ammonia but it also is toxic to flsh and some plants. I use it as a precaution, on the flip side products like Res safe are low potency Chlorine and prevent res slime. If you can't keep your temps running an average of 68 - 72 I'd recommend ResSafe or home make it from pure pool chlorine (about $25 to make 100gal+ of $30 a bottle res-safe google for answers.) You need to know that higher temps encourage life, excessive chlorine kills it, bacterial and plant, a tiny bit of chlorine shouldn't effect the cuttings, but I've never personally used it. I've read that running a res between 74 - 79F with ResSafe can produce roots in 5 days or less. I had nubs in 6 by controlling my temps. You want it at a stable pH of 5.5 - 6.5; I personally go with a more conservative range of 5.9 - 6.1. I prepare the water OUTSIDE of the cloning chamber in a sterilized bucket. Preparing the water in the res allows for bacterial buildup before you put the cuttings in. I run the water with a standard aquarium bubbler for 3 days to get it stabilized, I pH the water before work and after dinner. I adjust it to as low as 4.5 the first day for my tap water, within 24 hours it's risen back up to at least 6.5 or higher. By the end of day 3 I've usually had stable water at 5.8 for 24 hours. 4) Setup your res and run for 24 hours with a thermometer in the water. After 12 hours check your temps, if they're above 75F, you need to chill the system.---- With this overpowered pump, unless you're running an ambient 65F or lower in your environment, you'll need to chill the res (this is why only 3 stars.) I put the whole cloner in a Tuffy tub and filled it 50% up the cloner with water and ice, this dropped the res to below 50F. I let it rise back up to the low 70's and put 1ltr soda bottles with frozen water in it every 12 hours, DO NOT cool inside the res directly with ice you'll contaminate the Ph of your water and possibly introduce something you don't want. I'm running an average of 73F resting it in a cooling bath. 5) Take your cuttings with STERILE cutting blade, scissors crush the stem. Aim for a 45 degree cut at the 3rd node of the stem. Sterilize your blade between cuttings, I use 99% isopropyl alcohol and have a glass of it for my blades. Trim every leaf on the top node of the cutting by 50% this reduces transpiration and stimulates root growth. I trim and cut the leaves before I take the cutting of the mother plant. As soon as I cut, the cut end goes into a bowl with water from the res in it. I like to put the neoprene on the cutting before I cut, that way it floats on the neoprene with the stem in res water while I take more cuttings. 6) I like to use a rooting hormone, RootTech is my favorite becuase I can get a small thing of it for $2 and it lasts over a year. This may be unnecessary but it's not failed me. 7) Put cuttings and res water in the system, plug in and go., Res Temp: 68 - 73 Bath temp: on average about 65 is enough to keep the res water cool despite the thermonuclear pump. Relative Humidity: 65 any lower and I'd mist or use a humidity dome Ambient Temp: 76 Root nubs in about 5 days, full on 100% roots in the chamber, 9 days. I'll put them in the garden in 3 days. After that I will sterilize the system just as I did when it was new, put it back in it's box and store it until I need to take cuttings again. When I unpack it I will re-sterilize it. Temp, sterile conditions, Ph - you'll have success. As to the system. Meh, it's okay for $100 more I could have gotten the EZ clone with the res fan. There's also an option of getting a thermoelectric cooling probe for $150 and putting that in. The downside is if you suck at plumbing you'll have a leaky res which is pointless, the upside exact temperature control for the whole cloning cycle. If you're smart and experienced you can make this system work for you, but it's not plug and play. It's too hot for any indoor garden I've seen and will develop bacteria fast without chemical sterilization of the water. The pump works, the system doesn't leak, it's too hot. Roots, well you need more than this cloner to succeed. Exact precision and you'll be successful.
