I have a concrete patio, and a 24' by 16' rectangle in the middle that is not cemented. We compacted the soil there, laid a level layer of pea gravel, placed thick matting, and put our above ground pool there.If we get a heavy rain, that area doesn't drain fast, so it fills with water. This pump moves the water out fast enough to prevent it overflowing the top, and after the rain ends, it will keep moving water until there is less than 1/8th of an inch left. Evaporation and drainage take care of the rest.While this works well for what I'm using it for, you may need a bigger pump if you need to remove more water.

It’s good for what you need it for, but I ended up having to put Teflon tape on the hose bib so that the hose bib would not be spraying water everywhere once the water level dropped down. But it does seem to do exactly what I needed to do, which is drained my cold plungeUpdate : the seller offered to make things right with this product. Even thought I was past the time they still did everything they could.Great guest service!

The media could not be loaded. I'm writing this as Milton is about to leave Florida.This pump, in conjunction with another literally saved my house from the storm.Little sucker worked hard for days on end. Just a guess, but I'm estimating it pumped well over 25,000 gallons of water and she's still pumping.Great product! I highly recommend.

Love it work fine

Pump was built more solid than the price would indicate.The one thing I took for granted was that it was submersible, it's not. It can only go about 10 inches of water. Worked fine for me; but might be a problem for another use.

Works well for our 6 ft deep pond when we need it cleaned. I was concerned if the hose would be long enough to drain properly and it is.

Used it in many applications works as described and gets the job done sooner than later. The power and low noise makes the pump my go too.
