a softer chew treat
recommended by my Vet. as my dog needed a chew that was not hard, and this one is soft. She loves them.

Clean teeth
Our shih tzu has had these 4-5 times a week for about 3 years, he is 4 years old. There is almost no plaque in his teeth which saves a dental visit and he can keep his teeth much longer. I compare his teeth to the neighbor shih tzu that is a year older and his teeth already look bad.

Wonderful!
These are wonderful for improving dogs' breath. My 10 year old Schnauzer had terrible breath so I took her to the vet who decided it was too dangerous to try to clean her teeth under anesthesia since my dog has kidney disease. The vet recommended trying the oravet, and within a short period of time her breath improved so much that there is no odor at all. She loves her oravet treats and she reminds me (ruff ruff) every afternoon to give her one. My dog also has a very sensitive stomach and the oravet has not caused any problems with this at all.

Bad Breath Gone, teeth cleaned and healthy gums restored!!!!
Best on the market. We were going to get our dogs teeth cleaned at the very high expense that is charged and heard that this is a great product to remove the plaque that causes the bad breath. Well, this product has promoted healthier gums, removed all of the plaque and completely freshened our dogs breath. We use one chew every other day and this has worked well. We will be ordering more to have on hand. I would think that once the plaque is gone, you could use twice a week and that would be sufficient.

Does the job, I think.....
Gave it 4 stars due to price per chew. Bought a months supply and our dog likes them. No bad breath. No diarrhea or tummy upset. His teeth were already nice and clean and stayed that way for the month but just can't see the price as dental problems are not much of a problem with this dog. (He is seven years old)

A great product!
My vet gave me a free 30 day sample of this product for my Chinese Crested's oral hygiene. She had her dental cleaning less then a year ago and preferred we try this product. My dog gets 3 small meals a day. I found this product made her gain a bit of weight so eliminated lunch and give her Oravet for that meal. It is great and she loves it. It does a fantastic job being that she is on the small end of this breed and narrow mouth. They tend loss of teeth early but she hasn't. Her breath has a fresh scent to it. I do watch her as she eats it because those are directions on the package.I have had small breeds for many years and found that they had dental issues loosing teeth at a young age.

My dog loved these but it didn’t seem to do much for ...
My dog loved these but it didn’t seem to do much for his teeth. Kind of pricey but they smell amazing and were a favorite treat for my dog. I brush his teeth and use different products and would buy these again if they had made any difference but although he loved them, they are pricey for just being a treat!

Recommended by my vet. I don't give it to my dogs every day but it still has improved their teeth pretty quickly. I think we average once a week. But they poop green after eating them. I wish they came in a smaller size like petite. Also, sometimes one dog won't finish his and another dog will swoop in to finish it. This is medicine so they shouldn't have more than one dose. I have to keep an eye on them while they eat them to make sure they don't get overdosed.
