These pens are beautiful. They take a second to get started, but the gel ink rolls smoothly after that. I don’t think the neon colors are all actually neon. The green, yellow, orange, and pink are neon but the other pens (three blues two purples, a fuchsia and a brown) aren’t neon. I like the storage case that these come in.

I make technical drawings by hand and I require a lot of colors. This set provides me with that. As you can see, I'm not an artist. But those with artistic talents, may find this set even more compelling. For me, it's important to have a variety of colors and produce smudge-proof clean lines. So, it does this. I did test every pen (see my final doodle photo) and had only one failure (see third picture). The pen was missing the tip. The other 47 all worked as expected. If you know anyone who loves filling in coloring books, drawing, journaling, bullet journaling or just writing letters, they will love this pack of 48 colorful gel pens. There are a wide variety of vibrant colors that come in four well-marked effects such as “Neon”, “Metallic”, “Pastel” and “Glitter” The neon colors jump off the page and some of the lighter metallics and glitter such as silver and gold will work on dark-colored paper. The pens themselves are translucent plastic and it will be easy to see when you are running low on ink. They are fine point, but lean towards a medium, as they put down a nice line of color with little effort. It comes in a plastic case made up of 4 connected clear-plastic trays with slots for each pen. The trays snap close to create a cube for carrying or can be turned back and forth like the pages in a book when open. I look forward to being both creative AND organized.

I really like how these came in the plastic book. You can easily just pop them into place and not worry about if they will fall out when you open a compartment. And can we talk about making it clear? I love that I can easily see where everything is so I can pick which color I want without opening all the compartments.

This collection of pens is fabulous. The packaging is unique and will be great for storage. The colors within are a beautiful array of brilliant color and sheen. I'm looking forward to using these to enhance and embellish fabric applique I use in my garment designs and repurposed denim. Will store these where the grands can't find them. Impressive set of 48 gel pens with so many vivid amazing colors.It comes in a handy carrying case and all the pens are secured for easily seeing all the options.They write so smoothly and glide against the paper.

Nice pen set with a great variety of colors and finishes. The neon colors aren't all as bright as some of them, but they're bold and still very pretty, so that's not really a drawback. Love the colors, and I love the different options all packaged together - neon to glitter! Love it!
