It’s a pipe.
It’s a threaded pipe. It matches the color on my Hunter fans. It’s 18” long, as advertised. It’s straight. Seems overpriced. And that’s about it.

Some of the plastic protective cover almost impossible to remove
Great quality and fit. However, while the temporary protective plastic covering can be removed carefully on most of the downrods (I purchased 7 of them so far for new house), removing this covering is almost impossible on a few of the downrods. Would love to know if there is a "majic trick" to remove the covering. That's why I gave the overall 3 star rating.
