I am definitely throwing out my softsoap bottles and getting more of these. It's SLS free, smells great & natural (due to essential oils, not chemicals) and leaves your hands smooth. It seems more moisturizing than softsoap too. It has no parabens or other weird chemicals that are common in drugstore soaps. The packaging is nice too. I only used it for my hands, not body - but it says you can use it for both.Small update: At first, the soap felt like it left a residue - but this was just an adjustment (briefly) from my old soap. Then, that feeling went away. And, my hands NEVER got dry again!! I couldn't believe it. I was pouring on the moisturizer every day in the winter because of how dry / chapped my skin was from using softsoap. Now - they are perfectly fine within days of using this! It's amazing. This stuff is incredible - and for the price, definitely worth it - even with shipping - though I found it at Whole Foods so you don't have to pay shipping obviously. I'm not sure if all Whole Foods carry it.

I REALLY like this soap. The smell alone is worth it, and it stays with you for a little while too. Smells like lavender and a hint of almond almost, can't quite tell, but it is very nice. I can't use soaps that have heavy petroleum base chemicals in them, they are very nauseating. As are perfumes and their formaldehyde bases. So this "old timey" formula soap is a godsend, and I feel safe using it.

I don’t like aloe or lavender on their own but together, it’s magic. This also lacks lauryl sulfate which is an acid that ultimately eats away at skin. Most shampoos or washes have it. This product all natural ingredients, foams appropriately, has a bit of oil to nourish skin and is beautiful for an aromatic experience.

Some people may find the scent not to their liking but most others will be ok with it. I like the scent and the amount of the lather it generates with just a small drop. I recommend it. I will buy again.

I was unable to see the list of ingredients before I bought this, but the Argon Oil in this soap is all you can smell after using it. I'm very sensitive to smells due to lung issues and I especially don't like the argon oil smell and had to wash my hands several times with other soap to attempt to get rid of it, even then it still lingered. The feel of the soap itself is OK, but please list ingredient like this. I was going for the lavender oil scent, not argon.

This soap not only leaves your hands soft but has the most beautiful fragrance. This is the first time I ordered the soap, but will be reordering in the future. Wish they had a gift package so I could give as gifts. Hint. Hint.
