Tried with 1S and 2S LiPo cells. Just plug the balanced charging leads in (note the -ve pin) and gives useful info about the cell(s).

In my opinion this is a must have bit of kit. If you have several batteries out with you, you can quickly check the capacity and state of each cell. when you have finished for the day, you can check the capacity again and if you are using lipos, bring the cells down to storage capacity, and check them again with this little doodaa to make sure that they are at the right storage capacity. If you are reading this and dont know what im talking about, go and read about storage capacity for extending the life of your lipo battery.If you or your friends have a bunch of unlabelled batteries out with you, you can quickly see which ones are charged and which ones arent.Highly recommended, cheap, easy to use little doodaa.

So when I saw the pictures with the connector on the right, I assumed wrongly that were would be some connectors with the device for common lipo /life/li-ion batteries and an option to purchase others if I needed.This is wrong.Out of the box, it can't test any of the batteries I have. I'm not sure if all the 5* reviews come from a different product that came with cables but this is going back.
