I didn’t purchase this unit through Amazon (I bought direct from Ecovacs), but I’ve been so impressed that I wanted to share my experience here. Mine is an earlier Winbot model, but the design and operation remain very similar to what’s currently available. I specifically chose this version because it is mains powered — I have a lot of glass to cover and didn’t want to keep stopping mid-clean to recharge a battery. I already own other Ecovacs products (a Deebot T20 and the 0800 RTK robotic mower), so I had some confidence in the brand before trying the Winbot, and it hasn’t disappointed. The 5.6 m power cable comfortably reaches my tallest windows, and the safety tether plus inline backup battery give peace of mind. I tested the inline battery first on a low-level window, and it worked exactly as expected — the robot stopped cleaning but held suction securely in place. That gave me confidence before using it on my high gable-end windows. 📸 [Picture 3: Winbot running securely along the window edge] Cleaning performance On a 2.4 m² pane in deep clean mode, it takes about 11 minutes. Generally the results are streak-free, especially if I rinse the pads before each use. The three modes (quick, deep, spot) all behave as described, though deep clean is my go-to. That said, I haven’t experienced suction loss or the navigation hiccups some users mention — it has always stayed secure. Overall Despite minor quirks, this really does what it promises: my windows are now clean in places I could never reach before. It’s not the cheapest solution, but for hard-to-access glass it’s a genuinely useful tool that saves both time and effort.

Works great; for a while. After about 1 year of usage the spray jets block up and the power adapter cord looses its outer plastic sheath where it meets the power adapter which causes a short in the wire and renders the unit useless. They don't sell power adapters separately which I would just buy with or without a warranty. They want me to go through all the warranty verification process in order for them to tell me it's out of warranty and they don't sell the adapter separately. I own 4 of these personally and I've convinced at least 6 people to purchase one for themselves. I've gotten calls from people I've convinced to buy and they want to know what I did to overcome these two faults. I tried using the ecovacs liquid solution now 20 times and still no luck unblocking the nozzles. I took a very small needle and just probed it into the nozzles by about a hair thickness as to not damage anything. So now I have 1 unit down and three pending. I just got a final email from customer service after a month of back and forth. I just wanted to purchase two new power cords and they kept on me about warranty. I told them I didn't care about warranty I just wanted to purchase replacement power pack and cord. The last email they sent said that my units were out of warranty and that I would have to contact their service department. I couldn't believe the conversation I just had. The woman from service made me repeat all of the issues again then proceeded to tell me that they don't sell parts and could I have your name so if the parts come in they will call you. I said I thought you didn't sell parts; she said we don't?! I said that I have two working robots in my possession that I use at my place of work and that I should probably just throw them away and buy new robots?! I thought I was being punked! I guess we're just supposed to throw them away after using for a year!

This is my first time writing a review for a product on Amazon. After my first use of this product, I think it worth writing a review for. Our house had a few dirty windows on the second floor that were initially difficult to clean, due to safety concerns. This robot made it possible to clean them easily and efficiently. Pros: 1. Can be used on windows, mirrors, and shower glass doors. It is very easy to use/set up and is very versatile, as it can be utilized on various surfaces. 2. It's able to safely clean my windows. I won't have to worry about it falling off the window mid-procedure, since the suction is very strong and reliable. 3. it's very easy to control using the app. With the click of just a few buttons, I can easily maneuver it wherever I want. Cons: 1. The product is not wireless. It is attached to a power cord, which can be a bit inconvenient if there is no power outlet close by. Whenever I need to move it to another window, I need to unplug the cord first and connect it somewhere else. 2. It's an investment. Although the product is very effective, it can a bit expensive. (I'd say it's worth the price) Overall this product surprised me with its effectiveness. My windows are finally clean, and I highly recommend it.
