Bates- Deck Stain Brush, 7.5-Inch, Large, Stain Brushes for Wood

Excellent brush. Good quality. Surprisingly fast and efficient. Staining my deck on my hands and knees with a regular brush used to take 2 days. With this deck brush I was done in 3 or 4 hours. Highly recommend.

This brush is incredible!!! The bristles are thick and coat well, they even get in between the boards. I love to stain and paint, but have had some shoulder problems as of late. This product cut down on the time by 90%, my shoulder was thankful. The box it comes in is sturdy and it came with a key chain paint opener and a metal and wood comb, to brush out any loose bristles and any bits of debris that might get caught. The brush rinses well and held together. Well worth the money!!!

I have a 300 Square foot Shore Master Dock that has wood planks. The setup is 10 years old and the wood is pretty dry and cracked. I wanted to stain it with a Marine Stain to breathe a little life back into it and maybe extend its usable life. I purchased this brush and Defy Marine Stain for the job. The wood as stated is old and dry and there was a lot of cracks and snags, but the fibers stayed together and the brush kept it shape for the 3 weeks it took me to complete the project. I would stain one side of the deck material, put the brush in a zip lock back come back sometimes 4 days later and do another coat or another side of the deck. Again, this went on for 3 weeks and this brush stayed ready to go each time. It took up the stain well and paid it out very smoothly. I was very impressed with the brush given the job it had. In the picture you can see the condition of the existing wood at the bottom of the pic, the condition of the wood after power washing it, then at the top, you can see the finished product after 2 coats of stain. Great brush, held up well.

Works great just finished sealing my deck outside 550 sq feet no loss of bristles cleaned up like new and a standard painter’s extension pole fits good quality product even comes with a comb to straighten any bristles that may get out of line

This is a really good quality product and would thoroughly recommend, a very good finish as you can see to my deck
