Save a couple bucks - just watch the size
These Alitove PSUs are good little units. A little larger than the frequently recommended brand, but you’ll save some bucks. If you are building a controller in an ammo can this will work just fine. If in a standard junction box, you may need to get a bigger box so you have room for all the gear.

Its what i expected!
I own a few of these Power supplies and I am happy to say they work great in all of the LED lighting projects Ive used them in. Sturdy built to last.

Works well
Not sure about longevity yet, but it works well in the tests I made so far.Just wish the output calibration would allow to go a little higher than what it does now (max on mine is 5.6V). The reason for this is I had to inject 5V at distance over 6m. Since DC voltage drops over distance, I had to use thicker wiring to deliver close to 5V at the injection spot. If the power supply could allow to output slightly higher voltage, I would've been able to use thinner wires (wire size in this project makes a difference)

Works likeall the others did. Grear supplier.

Maybe great, maybe not so much.
Using this power supply to replace a unit of the same model number but unbranded unit in a battery tester/charger. I'm attempting to charge battery cells to 3.45v @ 30a but coming up short with only 24 amps. Not sure of the cause and will have to crack it open to see where the output voltage is setting? The old supply runs at 6.12v but the specs on this unit claims 10% adjustment which should be 5.5v. I may dig into this further as it's not a life changing problem. It just means the difference in charging cells taking 200ah, now takes 8 hours to charge instead of 6. Quite a bit of time when you're talking about 100 cells. It's running fine otherwise and nice to have a little less fan noise. The problem I'm having isn't critical to me but it may be for someone else depending on the application.

Silent over-sized power supply for ws2812b LED lights.
Powers ws2812b LED lights perfectly. The voltage output can be tuned down to about 4.7 volts on mine. At 4.7 volts the Raspberry Pi 3's 3.3 volt signals are interpreted correctly for a 5m (150 led) strip. Assuming my collection of ws2812b LED lights will grow, I opted for this over-sized power source.I was happy to confirm that the fan only comes on when needed. For my low power consumption in a cool environment this power source is 100% silent. It does not come with a power cord. I cut the end off a spare computer plug, and attached to the provided terminals.I plan to use this for powering LEDs and as a bench supply for breadboarding. Thinking ahead I purchased power terminal connectors that fit my existing breadboard adapter, and used it's matching connector on both ends of my LED strips.

Doesn’t maintain voltage
I adjusted voltage to handle a few miners and a few hours later they all shut down. Turns out the the device kept voltage fluctuating and my miners all stopped work. Buy a more reputable brand, this is now a giant paperweight ugh.
