I've had my Bose AE2 Soundlink headphones since 2017 and have taken them everywhere. As a result, the phone ear pads had become quite worn, flaking off bits on to my ears for the past year or so. Finally, the covering of the form pads themselves had begun to detach; it was only a matter of time until they complete disintegrated. So these replacement foam pads were a fantastic, inexpensive way to set things right. I'm not sure they are quite as soft as the original pads - after 6 years, I can't remember - but they are plenty soft enough and my ears feel fine after many hours of wear. The installation is fairly easy - just be careful when you bend the plastic rings around the foam pad to insert them. Once installed, they really look like new. I'm really pleased; this was a very inexpensive way to make these headphones practically good as new again, and much more comfortable. (I also opted to replace the inner R and L clothe liners, since new liners are included with the ear pads. To be honest, I'm not sure I needed to do this, and it seemed to very slightly muffle the sound vs the previous liners, although again, after 6 years, it's possible this is how they sounded when new. My ears adjusted to the slightly altered sound within a day of listening.)

Longer-lasting than the official versions, comfortable, and at a much better cost! This was a life saver because they don't sell the white cushions for the pink edition anymore.

So far, so good. I replaced my OEM pads after one split open to reveal the foam. These replacement pads are soft and relatively easy to put on. They snapped in place and I immediately wore them to my next work out session. The held up just fine. They are soft and pliable. My only concern is the dust covers that come with them. I'm not sure exactly how they are suppose to be secured. They have applied tape to secure them and once the pad is on, it shouldn't come out. It just was a bit confusing as to exactly where the larger tape should be secured.

I love my Bose headphones. I love them so much this is my second reorder. They are lightweight and feel soft. The pads are easy to remove and replace with new ones. The sound quality is strong blocking other noises without issue.

I wear my headphones a lot. When the ear cushions first became torn, I was worried that I'd have to get new headphones. Fortunately, these replacement ear cushions exist. I've had to replace the ear cushions a good number of times, and I always reorder these ear pads when it's time. They fit perfectly, come with replacement dust covers, and the instructions are well written, which allows for easy installation. They're as comfortable as the ear cushions the headphones came with, and they last a reasonably long time. Since I'm such a heavy user of my headphones I expect that they'd last longer for the average person than they do for me. My main advice for making them last is to avoid getting them wet (i.e. don't wear your headphones if you just got out of the shower).

I have had these on now for a couple of years and I have been fully impressed with how they have held up. When I read a few of the reviews saying they didn’t stay on I am sure they weren’t installed correctly. They are just a little tricky to put on, but not rocket science. If you are not sure if they went on, they probably aren’t on properly. In any case, I can’t tell the difference between the replacements and the original pads and would definitely recommend and buy these again. I bought a pair for my wife at the same time and they are also still in great condition.

I have owned a Bose SoundLink around-ear wireless headphones II for almost 2 yrs now and recently the ear pads deteriorated to the point where the foam on one side came completely out and the other was quickly getting to the same point. For quality reasons, I normally prefer to buy an original replacement but it was out of stock when I was ready to purchase. So, after some research and checking reviews, I decided to go with this aftermarket replacement. The product arrived and after reading the short instruction page I proceeded to perform the replacement. I removed the old ear pad and scrim on one side of the headphones and installed the new scrim with minimum issues. However, installing the ear pad proved to be a test of one's patience. After about 30 minutes of the trying to set the mounting flange (oval plastic base) of the pad under the hooks (clips), I decided to look for a tutorial online for help. The process looked so simple in the video. After a few more patient attempts I was able to get most of the pad in place but as I moved around the cup it kept popping back out at the point where I had started. Being almost at the point of exacerbation, I decided to move on to the other ear piece and come back to the first one after. This proved to be good decision. To my surprise, the second earpad was easily installed in less than a minute with the mounting flange clipping into place in one go. I then rechecked the first one, only to realise that the old mounting flange had become dislodged from the rest of the old ear pad and had remained in the headphone cup. This limited the space to get the new one under the clips. Once this old flange was removed the installation was a breeze. Having read the installation frustrations of other users, I thought that I would share my experience for the benefit of others. Will update after some months to see how it stands up to use.
