Update to 3 stars: Shortly after review, seller contacted me and offered a full refund. It is obvious they care about customer satisfaction. Excellent customer service is hard to come by at times, so this says a lot about a seller/company. Although it didn’t work out for us, I hope it works out for others. Either way, they’ll be working with a great seller. Original review (1 star): We wanted to love this product. Unfortunately, in less than a month of light use, the top c-shaped “hook” where it latches broke. Now, the product is not secure or safe. We can no longer use it as it was intended—to safely keep our toddler in a safe space. We were willing to look past the fact the mesh material was never taught, even when smoothed and locked (it sagged in the middle). However, now with this, we are disappointed that we threw the box and packaging away. Otherwise, this would definitely return this product due to poor quality and durability.

Primo! Love it. Relatively easy to install, bearing in mind that you do need some tools and some skills. If you are anti DIY, you prolly should hire a handyman to install it. Mine is installed outdoors across our driveway where it narrows between the hedge and the chimney. It keeps our 22 lb dog in and cuts off his access to the street where we never want him to be....BAD DOG! Several hundred "Bad Dogs" later, my wife came up with the idea of a retractable baby/pet gate. My knee jerk was negative, but that changed. Great effect for a great price + low profile.

I really wanted this and it’s the only gate I found that could work for the large hallway but sadly it didn’t last a week. The toddler can be rambunctious but he was actually not doing anything bad and instead was trying to open it. The pieces that clip into the hooks broke off. I’m now realizing that the gate maybe came damaged because the bottom part is crooked. It was a huge waste of $100 for us :-( Update: we got the replacement pieces and it worked! Just for a bit though :-(. The second picture shows how the handle broke. I really don’t think we are mishandling this product. I do think this long version of the gate is the issue. Second update: it is holding up with the replacement pieces. weeks later. The seller helped me replace it, so I will be getting a new gate, and hopefully, it will stay put well. I am changing the review from 2 to 4 stars.

Top left is the anchor that came with 110" gate. It was free spinning on sheetrock wall (making the hole larger). I believe it was meant for concrete wall. I had to purchase a screw-in type (75-lbs rating) from a big-box store. The bottom right came with the 90" gate. It was also free-spinning due to the end (where the point of the screw goes in) was very tight. So, I pre-thread (as pictured) before I insert it into the hole (I used a drill bit that matched the diameter on the end of the anchor).

Having 2 dogs and a child this gate has been so nice to keep both dogs and kid away from each other at times. It keeps my child contained and the dogs have free roam of the rest of the house without feeling cramped. We purchased extra hooks to be able to move the gate depending on our needs. When we do not need it it is every discreet compared to other gates we have purchased and does not make us feel trapped when our child is sleeping or having a bulky gate against a wall. It was an easy install and not a problem to move to a different location.
